  • Shakacarnage Gareth Williams (@Shakacarnage) reported

@woblis Terrible long term customer outlook. If I left for a month and came back, I'd get it for £50 a month. I think we'll go Freeview, like you say, in case we miss something, but I think the last two years has seen a huge change from live to streaming in our household.

  • GBNEWS GB News (@GBNEWS) reported

On Dan Wootton Tonight... Should Boris Johnson step down rather than risk being ousted in a no confidence vote? 📺 Freeview 236, Sky 515, Virgin 626 📻 DAB+

  • a516digital Mike (ex-a516digital) (@a516digital) reported

@duffaSteve Most 5G is far away from Freeview frequencies. But band 28 (700MHz) is starting to be used by O2, 3 and EE, using frequencies either side of those used by COM7. Cellmapper is a useful app showing you which bands are in use by your mobile network in the area.

  • willmill82 willmill2022 (@willmill82) reported

@TalkingPicsTV @justinionn @SkyUK That's a shame - I only got Sky Glass due to getting-a-dish issues and poor Freeview signal. Hope they think again!

  • merseymale PRIME RADIO LIVERPOOL (@merseymale) reported

I have to watch @ITVWales due to my freeview not working #tippingpoint

  • PhilNTebb Philip (@PhilNTebb) reported

@TalkingPicsTV Interesting, is that mandated by Freeview or was there a functional incentive to move down the band?

  • KevinCore Kevin Core (@KevinCore) reported

Media Show actually getting into the big issue with a subscription BBC. Freeview. How do 18m, generally older people, who may skew Tory, watch Strictly?

  • PCarmichaelVO Paul Carmichael (@PCarmichaelVO) reported

@d0hertyry4n @TomRafferty4 Well of course it isn’t. Yes. You said on your other tweet that you think only Freeview viewers (the elderly and poor) should pay. 👍

  • mudlarklives Clay Harris 🇪🇺💉💉💉😷 (@mudlarklives) reported

@OhBlimey Never on before 4pm, rarely on after 10pm. No news or current affairs. Sky Arts (via Freeview) or BBC4 when possible. The soaps basically are just *on*, not heavily invested in.

  • BrandinyourHand Roger Tomlinson (@BrandinyourHand) reported

@jamesdoeser @bectu @MegaphoneUK The problem as most media are discussing, no viable alternative has been proposed handling issues of vast amount of free-to-air radio & television the BBC broadcasts, with no infra-structure technology that would enable any kind of charging mechanism for radio or freeview
