Personally, I'm not particularly bothered by it all. I've not had a particular interest in Pokémon for a while, but I never watched the anime much as a kid. I never saw it on TV in the UAE and it never seemed to be on Freeview in the UK on a regular schedule either.

  • CaptainCrash611 Mark Lyons - #VoteAnyoneButLibLabConGreen (@CaptainCrash611) reported

@ColinSkinner17 @Dinosaur1177 @MartinDaubney The BBC is a pay TV station so like other pay TV stations they shouldn't be on Freeview and their signal should be scrambled on other platforms. If people without a license good on them

@JellyTotPixel @bbcmtd It's the signal not the equipment that's causing the problem even with HD freeview this problem still happens in some areas of the UK, where I live you can't get it with a portable HD receiver, I have to use satellite. as Freeview don't work well.

The bonus to this is less equipment & remotes needed as old TV had no freeview & HDMI selector as only had 1 HDMI input. Tho the old Firestick really is slow compared to the newer one I use in the livingroom. Old TV will go off to charity later.

@SteveLJenkins @GBNEWS And they forget the contribution to the broadband rollout, the subsidising of Freeview and Fresat, and the World Service that provides so much soft power abroad.

  • EvelynS51868235 Evelyn Smith (@EvelynS51868235) reported

@FreeviewAdvice Have been having trouble with my freeview since 8th March 2023. Before that the reception on all channels was perfect. Suddenly the picture is cracking up and going slow. It is not very bad but it is not as perfect as it was. The sound is a bit affected too.

  • jonwensley Jon Wensley (@jonwensley) reported

@Boe12986 @GBNEWS @Jacob_Rees_Mogg If they do, they will have to go on a Sky/Virgin/Set-top box platform. People will then have to pay for the base service (>£20 a month) for what was free to air on Freeview before. 18m people use Freeview.

  • a516digital Mike (@a516digital) reported

@colin1951uk The investment is partly in hogging empty Freeview channel numbers in the 60s,70s and 80s, so if anyone wants to launch a new service and doesn't want bumping off to the 90s on the channel list, they'll have to strike an EPG trade deal, earning That's TV a nice sum of money.
