  @dodgson_sally Since all the channels on Freeview carry adverts why on earth is the Govt getting involved in trying to scrap it? Surely it funds itself? Bad news for pensioners & disabled people who rely on access to tv every day. Better to scrap GB News & OfCom. @lisanandy @andyburnham

  freely the best freeview out there. needs the Internet to watch tv but then doesnt connect to the internet and when it does connect, the tv doesnt work. 6 months I've had this tv and this **** doesnt work

  @aconda_ann I am quite old fashioned as well. I did get a bargain smallish 'internet / smart' TV but no use when freezes or internet cuts off (been happening for years, with no fix). It's on a terrible indoor aerial, so I can't get most Freeview on that one but my fave usual telly: Freeview.

  @_Leyanelle_ @DaveyTheTroll Stv player had a major habit of freezing randomly then utterly crashing comedically large parts of Dundee down by the Tay are served by the relay transmitter at Tay bridge on the fife side which has a significantly reduced freeview service compared to rest of Dundee

  @SW18_67FC @johnrobinson07 It's not more saturated too, it's shot in a Full Range and de-converted down to Limited Range to fit in our poor freeview infrastructure, it makes red and yellows considerably crushed. That's why the Holland game looked the worse so far

  @TheBasedMother You will soon have no choice. All electrical goods will be connected to wifi. This is one of the reasons they want to ditch Freeview, because it is not a two-way service; and it is not subscription.
