    @MajQapla The Encore app is a catch up only service, and doesn't show live TV. I expect Abigail's Party will be added after broadcast. I watch TPTV via Virgin media channel 445, I know it is on Freeview (81?)

    @GSpellchecker Weโ€™re not in a good tv reception area, and used freesat but the dish kept playing up. In desperation I tried an old, small and powered internal tv ariel that plugs directly into the tv and sits next to it, and we get a perfect freeview signal. Worth a go before spending loads.

    @philmckinnon2 @UKChange I looked at reviews for Freely, and they were poor - so we need to keep Freeview.

    @NYPDnews so let's get down to bizniz,,,,,, how about my latest job upgrading freeview tv sets with a actors channels genres programmes search box (text entry) or EVEN BETTER :- LOTTERY FUNDING TO UPGRADE AMAZON PRIME UEFA BROADCASTING, so we can actually watch champions league

    The 1970s : "Those were the Days" on Freeview : What really pisses me right off is most of the ******** spouting off total bullshite about the 1970s weren't even born so why don't they get a proper job and stop making themselves look like a superior *******.

    @GBPolitcs Why should I pay a tax for a service I choose not to use? If I choose Sky, TNT, Paramount, Disney, Netflix ect. I pay for it. The ones I donโ€™t pay for (Freeview services) are funded by advertising. Frankly the public funding for C4 should be revoked too.

    @jdpoc I really hope Freeview (+ Freesat) never get axed. 1) We need a backup when internet or digital providers go down 2) Freely is subscription TV via the backdoor. You need to pay for monthly internet service to receive it. 3) Internet is not geographically accessible everywhere

    @FreeviewAdvice transmitter fault with Weaverthorpe transmitter since power cut yesterday. No BBC channels except HD, and no BBC radio channels on freeview. 2 TVs, signal checked, retuned, other channels unaffected, others report same issue

    @krstnbrws More likely TV Warehouse will closedown because it's affiliated shopping channel meaning it's sponsored by different companies and not real shopping channel. Plus the change over to Your TV . TV Warehouse never went nationwide on Freeview i wonder why not?
