@Paul68958640 @netflix Same. The licence fee is still the best value subscription service in Britain - every freeview channel incl the BBC. Talking Pictures and Channel 4. Enjoyed Squid Game and Mindhunter (r.i.p.) but not enough to justify £6.99 I could be spending to see other shows elsewhere.

I got a new TV and now standard free to air TV looks terrible because streaming services understand nice TVs exist and Freeview appears to basically have ignored everything that happened in TVs since about 2007.

@BlueTinted_LB @sidcelery @grahamefendle HD channels on Freeview usually better than equivalent on Freesat as there’s no compression. (I always switch from satellite to freeview to watch stuff on bbc for this reason) *signal can degrade so depends on distance from transmitter and other disclaimers.

This privatisation of Ch4, would include the stake in freeview that is part owned between BBC, ITV and CH4, another terrible idea, from our government of terrible ideas.

The LG C1 oled is incredible! However @LGUK why is the EPG on your freeview so slow and constantly loading? Never had these issues before, its painful to use.

@ben_quick With Sky Glass, if you cancel the subscription there's a freeview tuner so it'll work... But yeah, understand the hesitancy there

@toryman1979 We use to have Sky but realised we were paying to watch advertising when we could get for free on FreeView. No point paying twice for the same crap!
