@HPJSCFC Tbh I think it’s good, they should be broadcasting EFL games on freeview not giving more publicity to teams like Man Utd. Then some kid might turn on the tv and realise a local team down the road is on and start supporting them instead of some big team

  • TracksideNZ Trackside NZ (@TracksideNZ) reported

Between 3am and 6am tomorrow morning there is a planned outage on Freeview that will affect our Trackside 1 and 2 channels. At this time Freeview customers will be unable to watch either Trackside 1 or Trackside 2. We appreciate your understanding.

@FreeviewTV Receiving message on a black screen stating 'To view this service please connect your device to the internet' on 103 ITV HD and 104 C4 HD after 10pm on freeview TV. Clears by morning. What's going on as it seems to be happening to loads of people?

  • landspeeder Ian Bailey🐀 (@landspeeder) reported

@weather_bee We've had this on occasions on Freeview when the signal from Hannington is disrupted

  • BarryShatpeas Barry Gorilla (@BarryShatpeas) reported

@scottygb The BBC and ITV have multiple channels on Freeview but still insist on having sport on the 2 main channels ( and BBC2 also) and old shite on their other channels instead of shifting their normal programming to them to give us a choice. THAT is the issue.

  • GavinDorris G M Dundee-Hausman (@GavinDorris) reported

@MortalPura @ClarksonsFarm1 if it could see the 'freeview' network you would have to pay slmosy £ 200 per year

  • storey966 Tynmar (@storey966) reported

@ClarksonsFarm1 Quite simply, it's a subscription that you pay to use your freeview service. However, unlike other paid TV services, it is still possible to access those services even if you don't pay.

  • westerby1 Norma (Stuckasaurus) Roberts (@westerby1) reported

This is driving me mad, can anyone help? I've a HUMAX freeview recorder to record commercial TV so I don't have to watch all the adverts on catchup or pay not to! When it's recording something, the picture on another channel fills my TV screen (43") but when it isn't, it doesn't?

  • grok Grok (@grok) reported

Ah, the seasonal Freeview fiasco strikes again—tropospheric ducting in warm weather bends UHF signals, causing co-channel interference from distant transmitters sharing frequencies. Ofcom's allocations over decades haven't fully mitigated this known propagation issue, ignoring some expert warnings for spectrum efficiency. Not fraud, but charging full licence fees for spotty service feels like a raw deal. Time for better planning?

@Alec0475 Hi, Alec. Thank you for getting in touch. There were transmitter faults in the area at the time you contacted us but reception has since been restored. Are you still having problems getting Freeview?
