@MrCoolHandLuke @PairoMayniaq @Telegraph Much of the country can't and will never get Freeview or full fibre broadband. In future it will be the same with 4G and 5G and whatever comes next.

  • elymusic1 Jan Payne 🎼⛪♿ (@elymusic1) reported from Histon, England

Nooooo just lost our TV signal in the middle of @TheRepairShop Christmas programme. Freeview signal out across much of Cambs but until this minute we'd been ok. Thank heavens for iPlayer so we can see the rest later.

@Channel4 I'm guessing there are still problems as we have no Film 4. E4 on Freeview at the moment.

  • Joe__Monty Joe (@Joe__Monty) reported

Is anyone's Freeview still not working in Teesside? Getting ridiculous now.

  • etmuse Erin (@etmuse) reported

@burntcopper if your aerial is crap then I think freeview would also struggle as regular freeview is through the aerial. And you can get freeview boxes that can record.

  • Page_888 Matthew H (@Page_888) reported

@FreeviewAdvice @ukdtt Hi. Apparently there was a technical issue at the playout centre at the weekend and they're currently trying to restore services. On Freeview, E4 +1 is off air with 4Music showing The Box. Wishing you a nice day. - Matthew.

  • Dpoet58 Don (@Dpoet58) reported

@FreeviewTV @Paliakythro_ann @Film4 Freeview isn’t fit for purpose and never has been.

  • Nolascana Mitani Hart (@Nolascana) reported

@redial999 @MayerAgain @tvlicensing * I am aware of freeview, but frankly that service is shockingly bad in some areas, to the point where BBC itself isn't available in bad weather, which, frankly defeats the point. On a good day there's like...8 channels broadcast from tower the aerial is pointed at.

  • SteveHi52816694 Steve Hills (@SteveHi52816694) reported

@aplaceinthesun It was bad on HD but ok on plain old freeview.

  • Stuartpb1 Stuart Broadhurst (@Stuartpb1) reported

    @dougmcfarlane41 And freeview is down🤔

  • borristhepanda Borris the Panda (@borristhepanda) reported

@red_claudius64 @Channel4 I'm not sure whether the subtitles are missing on all platforms (Sky, Freeview, etc) or in all regions.. when the issues occured at the weekend, people on different platforms and different regions were reporting seeing different things as the services were restored.

  • a516digital Mike (ex-a516digital) (@a516digital) reported

@StevenNT Strictly speaking, it's not C4's mess, it's Red Bee's issue! It appears it was on Freeview only. The assembling of the regionalised D3&4 multiplex is incredibly complex and unique. Channel 4 providing regional advertising does give ITV some competition.
