RoboJ1M (@RoboJ1M) reported from Portsmouth, England@Sonic_Sinclair @bbcmicrobot Technically it is, there's support for it in DVB. There's several channels on DVB satellite that uses it, not sure there's any on freeview. Certainly all the original services shutdown or moved to MHEG. The BBC mheg service was incredible but that's shutdown now too 🙁

They then want another £25 2use it

ITV Channel News (@ITVChannelTV) reported@SollyIan @ITV ITV was recently granted an Ofcom licence which would allow ITV1 to broadcast in HD in the Channel Islands, however, there is currently insufficient Freeview/satellite capacity to provide the service in addition to other channels. We are aware of the issue and are working to fix.

Aotearoa/New Zealand TV Update (@NZTVupdate) reported@DrRocke @FreeviewNZ @Primetv_NZ All we have to go on is this statement "You can look forward to more new channels in the year ahead too". Maybe Discovery is bringing it's Food Network to Freeview but who knows at this point.
