    @FreeviewAdvice Can you help me please. I am now relying on Freeview. My tv has HD but Freeview isn’t. How do I get my Freeview into HD. It’s not a pleasure to watch. Thank you.

    One bad thing about #Freeview TV is all the begging adverts. Ignore em all, ain't contributing towards inflated staff salaries. Plenty of local little charities.

    @Sonic_Sinclair @bbcmicrobot Technically it is, there's support for it in DVB. There's several channels on DVB satellite that uses it, not sure there's any on freeview. Certainly all the original services shutdown or moved to MHEG. The BBC mheg service was incredible but that's shutdown now too 🙁

    @Saltbar Good God no - I watch on a proper TV with Freeview and only very, very, rarely watch something on whatever channel's iPlayer service it is - and then only if it's something I miss when it's broadcast and I didn't record it either. Is that what you're doing? Online only viewing?

    Got up at 9 this morning to watch a bunch of episodes of Through The Keyhole (never seen it before after all these years in London) on the strange new freeview channel called "That's TV". It's not very good but an interesting enough time capsule.

    @terry562506 @AmazonHelp How? I've had this problem since I bought the new TV 2 weeks ago. The smaller ombre in the bedding works fine. The new one gets PLR 5027error and a couple others when I try to play Freeview movie or TV show.

    TalkTalk has now closed its 'Boost channel' service, effectively ending its own TV channel platform. ▶ From today, TalkTalk TV boxes will have access to Freeview + a selection of streaming apps. Sky channels continue to be available through the NOW app.
