On matey question I flack through channels via virgin media no problem on any channel including the awful gb news however on Freeview all channels good Quality except the awful gb news which the worst of the lot a bit like the content I dot know about sky fst

@Sonic_Sinclair @bbcmicrobot Technically it is, there's support for it in DVB. There's several channels on DVB satellite that uses it, not sure there's any on freeview. Certainly all the original services shutdown or moved to MHEG. The BBC mheg service was incredible but that's shutdown now too 🙁

Just watching a programme on Freeview about the German programme set up by Himmler called " Lebensborn" . Y is the UK being blasted for slavery 200 + years ago especially when we abolished it , when Germany never gets slated for the Holocaust or Lebensborn etc only 80 years ago ?

I've decided 100% to cancel Sky TV once my contract is up. I'll use a recordable Freeview box in the living room. And I've got Amazon Prime video, so that's enough TV channels and will save money.

Does anyone I know on Twitter know about the tech of TV sets? I mainly watch it through my Sky box, but I can also get Freeview on terrestrial. That seemed to be hooked up via my VCR - yes, I still have one! Haven’t used it for years and now it seems to have broken, and… 1/2

@prkirkley We never get those here! Not sure why but we only get about 90% of Freeview on our transmitter, so there are a few channels we don't get (CBeebies HD and Freesports too). Maybe they're also the most likely to go down elsewhere?

@s0phx__ yeah its a freeview box so dish to box if box or dish is broken then wont work and its been repaired the box but dish is fine but wont pick up so something happen so got to get the bloke out

@FreeviewAdvice I was advised by a representative on your help line that I would have all channels by 6pm yesterday. I’m missing all BBC channels and the remaining channels are intermittent if at all. I’ve sent DM to Freeview.

@TonyH091963 @BraidmanNathan @DavidBr65161102 I watch all the holocast footage etc on Freeview - Yesterday/Smithsonian and PBS America .... the Germans kept such good records and footage as they were so proud of what they did ....never ever though their 1000 year Reich would end ....their records helped convict them ....

@andyfidler66 Hi Andy, I am so very sorry you cannot access Channel 51. The number of channels available on Freeview depends on where you get your television signal from. Great Christmas Movies broadcast on a Local MUX (frequency) which unfortunately is not available from all transmitters.
