@Sonic_Sinclair @bbcmicrobot Technically it is, there's support for it in DVB. There's several channels on DVB satellite that uses it, not sure there's any on freeview. Certainly all the original services shutdown or moved to MHEG. The BBC mheg service was incredible but that's shutdown now too 🙁

One bad thing about #Freeview TV is all the begging adverts. Ignore em all, ain't contributing towards inflated staff salaries. Plenty of local little charities.

@oscarxray Oh god, I had the option to walk out but my level of offence froze me to the spot! We need to cancel all movies that I might flick through on sky and freeview in case I watch them and I am offended . God forbid they play blazing saddles!

  • DigitalDiablo 🇪🇺 🐸 HYPNOTOAD 🐸🇪🇺 💎 (@DigitalDiablo) reported

@katzenzungen Moved to "BT" full fibre a few months ago and its half the price and double the speed of Virgin Media. We don't take the TV service (can't even keep up with Freeview/Netflix) but more than happy with it.

  • meraulton Meraulton (@meraulton) reported

Build up your own library of DVDs and CDs because tonight's tv is just awful. I expect terrestrial tv to be bad every night but Freeview is now following suit. Just put your own stuff on. A bit of Genesis then Apocalypse Now.

  • rasiron Rachel Saville 💙 (@rasiron) reported

@rreczulski @mrwilmore18 Thanks but I don’t have Freeview, signal not strong enough, always had to rely on a satellite signal. I get a few radio channels with sky but not Humberside.

  • Mistertonmick75 Michael Kent 🦮 Eddie 🐕 Kaylee 🌈 🐕 Toby 🌈 (@Mistertonmick75) reported

@rreczulski @rasiron @MalarkeyIron I think it is daft not having a freeview aerial for back up incase Sky is down rhrough weather or your Sky main box isn't working and you are waiting for a day or 2 for a repairman or replacement, at least it is better than watching a blank screen.

  • FranklinsSE22 Franklins (@FranklinsSE22) reported
