One bad thing about #Freeview TV is all the begging adverts. Ignore em all, ain't contributing towards inflated staff salaries. Plenty of local little charities.

@Sonic_Sinclair @bbcmicrobot Technically it is, there's support for it in DVB. There's several channels on DVB satellite that uses it, not sure there's any on freeview. Certainly all the original services shutdown or moved to MHEG. The BBC mheg service was incredible but that's shutdown now too 🙁

12 years on I'm pretty stoked to complete my Breaking Bad universe trilogy viewing tonight with the Better Call Saul finale. Blows my mind to think how long it's all been. I still remember catching the first promo on Freeview 5USA and saying "well that looks fun" to Mrs D.

  • SimonOxley9 Simon Oxley (@SimonOxley9) reported

Seems like an interesting time to return to @LutonTown commentary duty at Swansea on Saturday. First visit to Liberty Stadium - never went to the Vetch either. Digital radio and Freeview 720 @BBCSport3CR

  • seanski44 Sean Riley (@seanski44) reported

@drstevebagley yeah, but my point is more that the same content is separately uploaded on multiple platforms - so actually maybe rather than channels, these apps are like Sky/Virgin/Freeview. Some of which require login/pay, some of which don't.
