One bad thing about #Freeview TV is all the begging adverts. Ignore em all, ain't contributing towards inflated staff salaries. Plenty of local little charities.

@Sonic_Sinclair @bbcmicrobot Technically it is, there's support for it in DVB. There's several channels on DVB satellite that uses it, not sure there's any on freeview. Certainly all the original services shutdown or moved to MHEG. The BBC mheg service was incredible but that's shutdown now too 🙁

Twitter! Help! How can Nic’s grandma watch the game without any apps on a tablet? Are there any free Freeview streams she can watch via Safari? She’s in hospital and doesn’t know how to download apps 😭

@BBCiPlayer Hi - can one of your technical staff explain why iPlayer is unable to pass a basic 5.1 soundtrack after all this time? Almost every other streaming service can handle it. Why do I have to choose between UHD + 2.0 or HD (Freeview/Sky) + 5.1. Thanks!

@appleinsider It was on freeview tv and on the free terrestrial ITV channel found on all TV’s in the UK so there was no need to watch via Apple TV or itv hub online or any other streaming service. Not sure why this is an issue just an inconvenience

@SkippyVinyls I've no problem with the TV. Freeview is all I have. I'm trying to connect my Humax Freeview to record on and access previous recordings but the Samsung isn't detecting it. I'm using a SCART to USB converter.
