One bad thing about #Freeview TV is all the begging adverts. Ignore em all, ain't contributing towards inflated staff salaries. Plenty of local little charities.

  • RoboJ1M RoboJ1M (@RoboJ1M) reported from Portsmouth, England

@Sonic_Sinclair @bbcmicrobot Technically it is, there's support for it in DVB. There's several channels on DVB satellite that uses it, not sure there's any on freeview. Certainly all the original services shutdown or moved to MHEG. The BBC mheg service was incredible but that's shutdown now too 🙁

  • Bermudgirl Marilyn McCubbin (@Bermudgirl) reported from Netley, England

@FreeviewAdvice are you going to put out a tweet about the widespread freeview service being down or what. Hundreds of reports on down detector complaining about not being able to view ANY channels. While your site claims nothing is wrong in all these areas. Come on, sort it out.

  • AinslieTrevor Trevor (@AinslieTrevor) reported

@ITV can you ask freeview if I can have a tv signal? I’ve asked Santa

  • ANOther08098886 A N Other (@ANOther08098886) reported

@FreeviewAdvice We have had 3 days of rubbish reception from Suttoncoldfield transmitter. Freeview is unwatchable. If it was London there would be rioting on the streets a Boris would be on the TV to assure us that he would personally fix it as soon as his party ended.

  • norfolkmummy3 norfolk mummy (@norfolkmummy3) reported

@GrainPirateDan Freeview is having an outage - don’t know if that’s any help. We’ve got no tv at all!

  • SimonPGiles Simon Giles. (@SimonPGiles) reported

@FreeviewAdvice is freeview down? Started with all HD channels not working and now all channels, both TVs have the same. Apps work though

  • broncoskolar Pasteur Eyes #UTA 🟥🟨 (@broncoskolar) reported

Hey #FreeviewTV signal poor in Poplar. Freeview unwatchable on aerial.

  • terrymccrum Terry McCrum (@terrymccrum) reported

@SkyUK It is 💩. Picture isn’t that good. Has loads less channels than Sky Q. Cannot record. Streams stuff on the usual platforms. No Freeview unless the wifi drops. It is awful.

  • hunnybird40 Jo A (@hunnybird40) reported

@FreeviewTV So Freeview is down apparently has been since lunchtime today. Any idea of when it is actually going to be back up working???

  • Juju72028287 Juju (@Juju72028287) reported

@FreeviewTV Would love to watch, but Freeview seems to be down - surely you're not ignoring the fact that the service has been bad all week and has completely given up today. Or am I just imagining a no signal message on every channel?

  • tashatam14 tashatam (@tashatam14) reported

@ConsPost @DrSpock_PhD Meanwhile those of us living in older (and new) rural properties have broadband little faster than dial-up and no prospect of anything better as Openreach are too busy servicing newbuild estates. See also poor water pressure, many power cuts, lack of mobile signal, no freeview
