@Sonic_Sinclair @bbcmicrobot Technically it is, there's support for it in DVB. There's several channels on DVB satellite that uses it, not sure there's any on freeview. Certainly all the original services shutdown or moved to MHEG. The BBC mheg service was incredible but that's shutdown now too 🙁

On matey question I flack through channels via virgin media no problem on any channel including the awful gb news however on Freeview all channels good Quality except the awful gb news which the worst of the lot a bit like the content I dot know about sky fst

@TPTVEncore Hi folks. This may be a silly question but does the red button service work on a Freeview TV that isn't connected to wi-fi? My brother lives in north Wales and can get @TalkingPicsTV but has no wi-fi or even a landline. Should he be able to use the red button still?

If yours is connected to the internet and it still isn't working, please give the Freeview helpline a ring at 03456 505050 and they should be able to advise you further. @RosalynConnors @RodneyMarshall1 You tell me..I've had Freeview freeze and black out like a signal problem before, but this seemed to be a continuous freeze frame right after saying, "shoot the first man that moves" (like a prank) and then a smooth cut to the next scene.

@NMBCo @hardistymark Pretty sure East Midlands Today is a standard definition signal slapped into an HD channel. Just got freeview to save money, back to the ol’ ‘High Def not available in your area’ message. If we want to see our news broadcasters in high def, we have to see them down the pub.
