    @bowlestrek Get your facts straight. Johnson is not in favour of ditching the license fee, as he knows it’s a massive vote loser. Plus they’ve now realised, they can’t go to subscription fee system, as the freeview boxes that the majority of UK households use, don’t support it.

    @reece_dinsdale @waynefoy @virginmedia Try message them on twitter they seem to get back to you quicker on social media .i stayed loyal to virgin for many years until the freeview episode when I changed to @SkyHelpTeam was so glad I did and it was cheaper by a lot virgin have no loyalty dad having same problem now x

    @jonoread I switched to Sky Stream from Virgin last year. Don’t miss the lack of recording now. Took a while to get used to. I have a Freeview recorder should I want to ‘keep’ something or for when internet goes down.

    The welsh freeview is crap, I tuned my tv in it picks up the welsh freeview only not English and I wanted to use it last night for talksport or lbc radio on freeview and its only got half, like all bbc smooth & heart

    @trashage I used to hang out with these two girls whose grandmother lived a few doors up from me, and because they only had Freeview, I was repeatedly subjected to this because it was on one of the only two free kids channels... a special kind of torture.

    @jdpoc I really hope Freeview (+ Freesat) never get axed. 1) We need a backup when internet or digital providers go down 2) Freely is subscription TV via the backdoor. You need to pay for monthly internet service to receive it. 3) Internet is not geographically accessible everywhere

    @GSpellchecker We’re not in a good tv reception area, and used freesat but the dish kept playing up. In desperation I tried an old, small and powered internal tv ariel that plugs directly into the tv and sits next to it, and we get a perfect freeview signal. Worth a go before spending loads.

    @ArthurSteggles @craig100 @jdpoc Neither of which many people have, I don't myself as it happens. So people who only want to watch a few "freeview" channels will have to spend loads more money than they ever have before to watch the same old ****

    @skytv everyone boycot sky and cancel subscription, since they want to ban freeview and get proplr to join there service . this is not acceptable
