    @bowlestrek Get your facts straight. Johnson is not in favour of ditching the license fee, as he knows it’s a massive vote loser. Plus they’ve now realised, they can’t go to subscription fee system, as the freeview boxes that the majority of UK households use, don’t support it.

  • NFGmart martyn notman (@NFGmart) reported from Sheffield, England

    @LuckyCedarlane @BBCAMERICA @ITV @itv2 @Channel4 @channel5_tv C5 is awful. All this is freeview too!

    @IanCLucas @tshep42 Indeed, we could start by closing down RT news in the UK which is broadcast to EVERY home through FREEVIEW digital tv. Fyck Putin. #UkraineWillResist

  • merseymale PRIME RADIO LIVERPOOL (@merseymale) reported

    @SkyHelpTeam Had no signal for three days now and engineer not coming until Thursday. Frustrating and we don’t have freeview either not what I am paying for

  • garyscott8383 Gary Scott (@garyscott8383) reported

    @Lakeuk @timfarron The company dvtv that administrates the UK Freeview network is owned by the BBC.... They choose not to give us the full offering ( that we pay for all the same) so we pay for less service (Tim knows this it was his own campaign when Freeview first came out) we also can't get dab

  • a516digital Mike (ex-a516digital) (@a516digital) reported

    @duffaSteve Most 5G is far away from Freeview frequencies. But band 28 (700MHz) is starting to be used by O2, 3 and EE, using frequencies either side of those used by COM7. Cellmapper is a useful app showing you which bands are in use by your mobile network in the area.

  • Davcobbler Bill Craven (@Davcobbler) reported

    @FreeviewAdvice My freeview channles such as Quest and Drama hwve no signal. Others OK but not great quality. NN11 0RE using Anglia transmitter. Would I be better from Midland.

  • willmill82 willmill2022 (@willmill82) reported

    @TalkingPicsTV @justinionn @SkyUK That's a shame - I only got Sky Glass due to getting-a-dish issues and poor Freeview signal. Hope they think again!

  • Shakacarnage Gareth Williams (@Shakacarnage) reported

    @woblis Terrible long term customer outlook. If I left for a month and came back, I'd get it for £50 a month. I think we'll go Freeview, like you say, in case we miss something, but I think the last two years has seen a huge change from live to streaming in our household.

  • a516digital Mike (ex-a516digital) (@a516digital) reported

    In the meantime, transfering the signal to a more sturdy temporary mast will result in 2,500 households losing Freeview, mostly near the Durham coast. This is because the mini-mast isn't tall enough to clear the edge of the North York Moors, blocking line of sight. -2-

    @d0hertyry4n @TomRafferty4 No, you’re not debating it. You said very clearly that only the elderly and the poor who watch via Freeview should pay. Of course as that’s 16% of the population they would get a hell of a lot less than they do. “Get less if you’re old or poor”. An interesting hill to die on.
