@BBC The viewing public should not be forced to fund a service they have not chosen, just so they can watch Freeview on their own television sets. Like Amazon Prime and Netflix, the BBC should now compete in the marketplace and offer a subscription service. #defundthebbc

  • LeafNetSco Blake (Leaf Networks 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿) (@LeafNetSco) reported

@steeleyp_ @BigJohnnyArcher Well I've seen a review from someone who's had hands on and they said it does "and an aerial port – which, like with Glass, is just used for Freeview backup when you’re internet is down."

  • skyblue_England skyblue_england 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 🇬🇧 (@skyblue_England) reported

@BBC The viewing public are not ‘celebrating’ being forced to fund your moribund corporation. The BBC is not an essential service, so the taxpayer should not be forced to pay for it, just for the privilege of watching Freeview on their own televisions. #DefundTheBBC
