@FreeviewAdvice Re:Winter Hill Freeview Retunes on Feb 20th &April 22nd,2020. Will there be assistance for those Viewers to Winter Hill,living in North Wales,such as the Help scheme,as in 2009. Winter Hill has Tens of Thousands of North Wales viewers.

One customer I have on my books,who had a visit from an aerial installer,was told the change dudnt affect us in North Wales. If you are receiving Winter Hill for Freeview,you WILL need to retune know the Dates given!

@itvcalendar @ITV Wow! TV transmitters don't usually catch fire. The structure is metal, so it will be the equipment at the foot of the mast that's will be the problem. It will mean no Freeview for the area it serves.

Well ****. The Bilsdale TV transmitter that serves the North Yorkshire region is currently on fire. So that means no Freeview telly until the problem is sorted out.

@RadioToday I live in the Bilsdale area @RadioToday and it is day two without the transmitter not working. I have access to my DAB+ Radio and Virgin Media Cable. But I do also watch Freeview a lot.

Over 3 hrs I've spent trying to figure out why the Freeview side of my BT box lost all the channels with no signal. Stripped wires removed plugs...checked other TVs ...only to finally find out the local transmitter is on 🔥.. not happy.....bedtime.....😠😠

@f1redfive Hi Alex. Are all your Freeview channels off? I put Ch4 on 2.10pm to watch Countdown 🕛 & every channel No Signal ! so, tried switching TV off & on mains.. No Signal. Then got Freeview pocket TV out.. No Signal ! Luckily old Sky box in bedroom still shows free channels

Hi @JohnLewisRetail - my mum has been without her broken freeview box since the end of June and no update. It’s with the manufacturer apparently. But her statutory rights mean she’s entitled to a replacement/ refund and her contract is with you. Really poor service.

Interesting, I signed up to a forum account on Digitalspy forums and had to wait for an admin to authorise it, but the account ended up being deleted 24 hours later. All I wanted to do was make a thread to query about a freeview transmitter issue. Incompetent mods. .@digitalspy

BILLSDALE TRANSMITTER PROBLEMS DUE TO FIREM CAUSING TELEVISION RECEPTION PROBLEMS.THOSE WHO HAVE SKY OR FREEVIEW WILL NOT BE AFFECTED. REPAIR TIME COULD BE ONE OR TWO WEEKS.

BBC One SD is working on Freeview but isn't BBC One HD the Bilsdale signal is weak and unstable. But the picture just went off. P.S. The English regional programmes won't be in HD until next year. #Bilsdale
