@rtenews Too bad we can't get this in the North. Freeview blocks RTE and TG4. Tommy Gorman knows and supports it. He said so in a telephone call.

@FreeviewTV Why does Freeview say there are no problems with either Sandy Heath or Belmont transmitter when the whole of my local neighbourhood has no signal reception at all?

@rileysauruss PlutoTV has a bunch of free channels, I use that for anything not on UK freeview. It's an international service that covers a lot of bases, including channels for news and sports

@Stephensav I don't think there's bandwidth in the freeview signal to carry 4k HDR, where I live I even struggle to get HD on freeview

@Iromg @talkRADIO Congratulations. We switched when LBC parted company with Nigel Farage. Rarely watch tv news these days. Moving to DAB+ not good, only own 1 radio that picks you up. A channel on Freeview might help

@virginmedia @Ofcom just to let you know that tivo is still freezing up, whilst my wife is watching it and that your only solution is to turn it off and on is not an appropriate response. take the tivo away and deduct from my bundle and I'll get a Freeview box.

@AlStewartOBE ONdigital could have worked with right leadership/strategy. Look at Freeview. Rebranding & vanity channels arrogant, League deal stupid. I tried to do a deal with TiVo in 2000 which would have beaten Sky+ to market. Free channels + pay-lite + online would have found audience.

@SarahJaffray2 I’ve mainly got it because we’ve got issues with our reception. Often a lot of channels from freeview break up. Also, I’ve added on sky sports so I can watch the football.

@jackh1092 Because mine is via freeview/online, and not via Sky/virgin etc, and the free view channel will be no more from 26th, so firestick (lite, not the full one) is only way to watch it. I haven't plugged it in yet, never had one. Just another way to stream i assume.
