    @Claire_Pickard @sueashton3000 Many residents in Sunderland & along the Durham Coast also receive Freeview Channels from the Bilsdale transmitter. The fire is also likely to have knocked out about 30 relay stations, which "feed" on signals from Bilsdale. I wouldn't like to climb up the transmitter to fix it!

    Hi @FreeviewAdvice, I live in the North East of England (Middlesbrough) and my Freeview went off but when I ran another scan it's only found 34 channels when I once had over 150? My signal appears to have dropped also. Most of the 34 channels are unwatchable due to pixels. Help?

    @TeamKnowhowUK hi there, I'm having trouble with the Freeview play app on a JVC TV. It says 'unable to access the Freeview play server. Please exit and try again'. I have tried several times. The channel 100 works but not the app. All other internet catch-ups work

    BBC One SD is working on Freeview but isn't BBC One HD the Bilsdale signal is weak and unstable. But the picture just went off. P.S. The English regional programmes won't be in HD until next year. #Bilsdale

    Watched the Rangers* game when it came Freeview today. Malmo worked to stop crosses from the wings- the main route of attack. They also defended well when crosses did come in. Rangers struggled to play through the middle and their shooting was terrible. McGregor slow low right

    @joshoconnorchen Fun story. I once had some installers place a freeview antenna on top of vocus for an IPTV rig. They pooched something up, and took down 4G for 2 weeks in Albany. MBIE were involved with scanners trying to work out who was outputting **** on the same frequency. Fun times!

    So, at home full Sky, Netflix, Prime and Disney+ and my children never watch TV. In London, no Internet. They are utterly fascinated by Grand Designs on Freeview.

    @FloydTweet Doesn't your TV have Freeview built in? Thought they all came like that now, plus check your "sources" on the tv as that may be an issue

    Interesting, I signed up to a forum account on Digitalspy forums and had to wait for an admin to authorise it, but the account ended up being deleted 24 hours later. All I wanted to do was make a thread to query about a freeview transmitter issue. Incompetent mods. .@digitalspy

    @BBCNEandCumbria I live on the north side of the river Wear in Sunderland and my tv signal came from that transmitter. I've retuned both my tv and freeview box but the alternative signal isn't as strong and has interruptions to it.
