@IWishIWasFunnyy @PIMC66 @RoboScorpion Nothing to do with Momentum - they support Starmer Your choice not to watch a documentary by a British producer with British contributors on British media (freeview) overseen by Ofcom has nothing to do with Qatar That's just a convenient excuse to keep your fingers in your ears

  • BohemianHarpy Bohemian Harpy KPSS (@BohemianHarpy) reported

Once you've got netflix you realise how many utterly crap films there are, they're a waste of electricity. Even what I thought of as rubbish films when I only had freeview now look top 10%

  • DazzThomas Darren Thomas 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 (@DazzThomas) reported

@virginmedia @Spencer83809805 Virgin Media do not provide a reliable service. My brother has recorded some stuff from Forces tv on his freeview box and he can still watch them.

  • raspberrytalk AKA The Raspberry (@raspberrytalk) reported

@GrandadAlbert @BBCNews don't drink, don't smoke, don't have sky or any subscription rubbish, just freeview, can't afford take-outs. Disabled and wife is my carer. We can't afford to turn the heating on or eat properly. So, ... next bunch of stupid suggestions?

  • phoebemonkey Ruth Mutch 👩🏻‍🦽 (@phoebemonkey) reported

I have a suspicion the Freeview engineer who came to “fix” my connection a while ago is responsible for this madness. He spent hours swopping around cables. I couldn’t check what he’d done because the cables are inaccessible to me (and the Virgin Hub was out of reach!)

  • 23rdGhost Ghost (@23rdGhost) reported

I mean like the basic freeview **** like channels 1 to 5

  • phoebemonkey Ruth Mutch 👩🏻‍🦽 (@phoebemonkey) reported

So now I have Virgin requesting their Hub back (no problem)… and telling me to disconnect the co-axial cable from their socket and cover the socket with a cover. Urm I can’t do that or I’ll have no Freeview signal.

  • Downbyetheriver DOWNBYTHERIVER (@Downbyetheriver) reported

@afneil I've seen these on Freeview. Both low key, undramatic, no gimmicks and no inappropriate latter-day commentators popping up to give their spin, and yet so magnetic. Very much in the image of Thames TV's world class, The World at War. (If you've never seen, see before you die!)

  • audio CharIieDiamond (@audio) reported

Freeview play issues on a new TV.. seems this TV cannot find the channels even with a portable aerial...
