@Sharon43068108 Very annoying! They are now showing the same match on BBC 1 AND 2. We are in a hotel room son only have Freeview. Going to watch Bridget Jones Diary on itv2 - I have my fingers crossed it's not too rude for the kids 🤣 (from what I remember, I think it's ok)

@MaddFan1 Same thing happened to me a few years ago, I was quite happy watching @AJEnglish on Freeview and then suddenly it went on to freeview HD, which my box wasn't. My problem was finally solved when they started broadcasting live on Youtube.

@wheeplumb @bbcpress @BBC Except you can't have public service and subscription. And how do you make people pay over freeview. And radio.

  • Page_888 Matthew H (@Page_888) reported

I'd be surprised if a new weekly TV magazine launched. Although I guess it's possible, maybe one just providing listings for Freeview? Of course, not only would this depend on gaining readers, pricing would also be an issue.

  • Nick2169Bruce N B P (@Nick2169Bruce) reported

@bbcpress @JackEDeakin @BBC The public has to pay for the TV licence just so we can watch freeview channels,£160.44 a year goes down the drain.

  • HansHass2 Hans Hass (@HansHass2) reported

@FreeviewAdvice Why can't I get the Horror Bites app on Freeview? Or view the Horror channel on demand service? Cheers

  • Al_Hine 𝔸𝕝 ℍ𝕚𝕟𝕖 (@Al_Hine) reported

@BbcBring Bollocks! Not in HD on my dog end of a @Freeview service.

  • tashatam14 tashatam (@tashatam14) reported

@BorisJohnson People in rural Devon mid have stone-age broadband, trickle water supplies, no mains sewage, no mobile signal, no freeview signal, no public transport, but plenty of potholes and powercuts. And you want to provide football pitches with taxpayer money?

  • CouchCommunique Real name goes here (@CouchCommunique) reported

@wheeplumb @bbcpress @BBC Well apart from the many millions of freeview users, are you saying there is no public service value to BBC television at all? Regional news for instance, which is often the most watched item of the day? Building up new British talent? No value to that?

  • nichols_tim Lord Worzel Binbag of Custard, Esq. (@nichols_tim) reported

@nicholsonprop @DavidPoulden Then you and your GBeebie chums can freeload off the rest of us. Who do you thinks pays for the Freeview service GBeebies transmits on?
