@bbcemt @BBCOne When will this be sorted? I understand it’s expensive on satellite. But I watch on Freeview so already get a regionally transmitted HD service, you just need to give me the correct video!? Even if local the content is upscaled.. #bbc #hd

@MichaelBensonn Not a single boxing fan in the world would want to see this fight, especially as most people have never even heard of Charr. This would have to be shown on freeview to get people watching

Main transmitters (FM/DAB/freeview) etc will most likely have backups but I remember in the big storm of 1987 that wasn’t a huge help, only one AM station (BBC local) managed to remain on air. Worth having some batteries for your radio next to your torch. /7

Just seen Neil Oliver referred to as 'Freeview Jesus' and I may never recover

  • tommieharve t harvey (@tommieharve) reported

@Elemjay1 Oh that's really fantastic - now I feel confident I can go into battle with my 'freeview jesus' sword in hand. He is so ridiculous, I sometimes really want to give him a bit of a hug. And then I think, **** it, let him burn in the toxins he spews, nothing to see here etc etc.

  • artman146 David Carvell (@artman146) reported

@PeteEva06681310 @Matthew78840327 If you watch or record TV on any channel via any TV service (e.g. Sky, Virgin, Freeview, Freesat), you need to be covered by a TV Licence. If you watch live streaming services (e.g. ITV Hub, All 4, YouTube, Amazon Prime Video, Sky Go), or use BBC iPlayer*, you need a TV Licence.

@FightyWoman I think mine is about 7-8 years old. I’ve never had a normal aerial because they were so expensive to get installed! Seriously considering it now and just having freeview or something similar cos tv is crap anyway!
