  @TalkTV @cjsnowdon @iancollinsuk I don’t necessarily believe a sub model would work, but as an initial step they should require subscription-based logins at least for their TV and web-based services (radio maybe less practical). Maybe just have SD broadcasts on Freeview and require streaming for HD due to practicalities (Sky shouldn’t be an issue). This way those who don’t pay (for a license) will find it hard to view, and it would also cut off more overseas users who view without paying.

  I bet you haven't even read the info where they're thinking about scrapping all freeview channels. And so to watch TV it'll all be paid online service - that you need ID for! Join the dots.

  @aconda_ann I am quite old fashioned as well. I did get a bargain smallish 'internet / smart' TV but no use when freezes or internet cuts off (been happening for years, with no fix). It's on a terrible indoor aerial, so I can't get most Freeview on that one but my fave usual telly: Freeview.

  @Steven59066 @BethUndressed They must have got taken down for showing ugly babes like tazmin_riley who simply don’t come close to the standards set by nice real babes like beth_bennett herself, which is totally unacceptable quality control for freeview itself,
