@happyborg @RadioTimes Yeh I find that freeview one is okay..just have to get used to a different site. I think that RT think I am on a mobile phone but I am on a HP laptop so swiping etc just doesn't work.

@FreeviewAdvice I live in AL1 district of ST Albans and as of 20.30, 15/3/2022 we lost Freeview. We receive our signal from the Crystal Palace transmitter, do you know of any problems?

@Yekki_1 Depending on your ISP they may have a TV set top box. I believe they must provide freeview for free. Maybe something you explore? You can also use PLC network plugs if you are too far from the wifi access point.

@pde62 @Bazza315 @AvonandsomerRob "I think charities should have the power to take away people's TV packages on pain of starvation, while the government - instead of them proper support - installs Freeview. Because my brain is mush and assume they don't have this already, but I want to punish the poor further"

@RadioTimes Thanks for the reply and I understand the intention. What is slightly more annoying is that the site no longer allows one to set a default service provider (i.e. Sky or Freesat.) I use Freeview and it used to be that once I'd selected that service as the provider the page would

@RadioTimes I have done that, but the site doesn't seem able to remember one's chosen service provider between visits. Despite my remaining logged in it always defaults back to "Popular Channels" rather than remembering that I had selected "Freeview" previously . . .

Pops has his TV back, and me turning Router off @ night, safety reasons, is the reason his box went wrong. It needs updating during night. Bloody stupid. My Freeview lets me know when I need to update. More electricity on, when not needed. Bills going up.

Why do I pay for @skytv again? Never works or downloads anything! May aswell stick with freeview as that’s pretty much all that is functional! 😠😤

@aunty_shirley @RhonddaBryant RT vanished off sky and Freeview in the UK when the EU banned the awful channel from using certain satellites so it couldn't broadcast in the UK

The @RadioTimes website used to be great, now it's terrible. Used to be able to hover over a programme and get a summary, now have to click through. Doesn't remember if you are Freeview or whatever.
