@GriffeyHilary @AnthonyICHH @MichaelsCoDub All a VPN does is mask your IP address, BBC is geoblocked in Ireland but with a VPN it makes a new IP Address look like you are in GB. Legal? Who cares? Nobody. You can get bbc free via freesat or freeview in ROI and no legal issues so....

Trying to work out what causes the interence on UHF 21 474 MHz during the day on Canvey Island. Can't all be down to atmospherics. Would be interested to hear if anyone has any ideas about this issue. It seems to make the Kent freeview comux unwatchable here during daylight hours

Apparently the BBC et al have pledged millions to Freeview to invest in the service. Sorry, pledged MILLIONS (it's a tabloid headline). That's lovely but personally I'd just like a digital signal. It's been over a year now. There will be no licence fee payment this year. Nope.

@longman751y2 @Paul_Coull87 @SkySportsNews Exactly the Championship has had big well supported clubs in it and the highlights are on some nothing freeview channel, and the live games get awful figures on sky. Without the big clubs the remaining leagues and clubs will die. Let them get the proportional revenue they deserve

@AndrewC_53 @RealGaryWebster I've never had Sky and never will. They did the same to TV series for years - wait for it to become popular on terrestrial (showing my age) and Freeview, then price them out of renewing to try to force people onto Sky if they want to continue the show.
