I've got a LG telly. Problem is that everytime I turn the telly back on, after it being off overnight, it comes on in Freeview mode. Freeview is the "Live TV" setting. If I change that setting to Freesat then it comes back on with whatever I was watching last. Why?

@LeadTestInclude We canned Virgin to go with Freeview plus Now Entertainment package. Still fairly cheap I guess. Just about enough programming that isn’t covered elsewhere. The NowTV box we have is rubbish. Awful interface (but it works - no channel numbers for freeview channels)

@bt_uk Just ordered, as previously had a failed install due to weak aerial signal. Are the freeview channels now over internet available to be recorded? Thanks

@MattyladKRO @virginmedia I'm sure there will be other providers trying to do the same worried people will cancel services due to cost of living increases. We just cancelled SKY TV as were paying £50 a month to pretty much watch channels that are available on freeview.
