    The problems with planning to switch Freeview off: Many people still watch Freeview. Internet drops out or you get the 'circle of doom' and freezing BBC iPlayer when trying to watch something! Not everyone has or wants internet / wifi / data.

    @dodgson_sally Since all the channels on Freeview carry adverts why on earth is the Govt getting involved in trying to scrap it? Surely it funds itself? Bad news for pensioners & disabled people who rely on access to tv every day. Better to scrap GB News & OfCom. @lisanandy @andyburnham

    I bet you haven't even read the info where they're thinking about scrapping all freeview channels. And so to watch TV it'll all be paid online service - that you need ID for! Join the dots.

    COMMENT: It needs an internet subscription, also an aerial for some progs, if your internet is slow you lose all progs, the manufacturers claim it's the internet problem so you cannot return the TV. It's a complete con for the companies to save supplying Freeview. 🤔🤔🤔

It remains on Freeview (for now) but is said to be suffering financial problems.

    @syncronicity100 Thanks. Briefly thought it was high pressure taking down the Freeview signal in my area again, but it was just a few seconds. Dunno if it was the same on iPlayer.

    That's a clip from "Benidorm" That's TV, Freeview Ch 56: 9:00 pm every night. Never knowingly 'woke'. Good, clean fun!

    freely the best freeview out there. needs the Internet to watch tv but then doesnt connect to the internet and when it does connect, the tv doesnt work. 6 months I've had this tv and this **** doesnt work
