@Patricia344130 Live TV probably yes. Find lots of ‘old’ repeats, which never had time to watch, are now much more interesting. Thank goodness for Freeview.

@Sir_Woofingtons If you want to pay for it, shouldn't there be a choice enabling you to do so, but others not to do so? I don't see why they just don't go ad-funded on Freeview like every other network, with the option of subscription on iPlayer for ad-free catch-up and premium content.

@davidbicknell1 The little Englanders are about to have their own TV station in a few days time. Why aren't we all donating to someone such as @BylineTV (I am) ? Let's help get them on Freeview, even if it's only just a few hours per day initially

Seen Metallica a couple of times over the last two days on Freeview Channel "Sky Arts", what a worn out pile of shite. Thank **** I've never bought tickets to see them, it's like watching a pile of lack luster tired old pensioners trying to relive their glory years. #PastIt 💩

@bbcintrowest when are you coming back to @bbcsomerset ? The current version is awful. All devon and cornwall. So have to use freeview to listen to you.

Only real gripe about motel: the TV is increasingly useless for Freeview when more channels (both HD and SD) are using MPEG-4. Which kinda shows the age of the TV. But at ~$90 a night, it's a very small complaint.

@LarryBundyJr Neither of them carrying the Freeview signal then?

@philriding160 @SkyUK Yep, had sky TV for 5 years, kept increasing prices and it was the most basic package. Cancelled it and just watch Freeview now. Don't miss it 1 bit, realised most programs I watched were on Freeview anyway. Also saving a fair amount of money every year too. Never going back.
