@JBainsworthy @darrengrimes_ @cue_bono It's going on Freeview and Freesat. Money doesn't appear to be an issue.

  • KoalaBarry Barry (the Koala). (@KoalaBarry) reported

@FredTedHug 1) No - no post Youview box stopped working, spent all am trying to sort it including factor reset, nothing. Rung Plusnet, no longer supporting Freeview, may need a new box charge could be £160, but system would shutdown in Nov at end of contract - decided to cancel TV option

  • timburrows Tim Burrows (@timburrows) reported

@JCalvert_music Not sure about that. Their intended audience already has YouTube to see this stuff on. Flicking through Freeview sucks. Maybe there'll be some traction with soundbite snippets being shared online? But I just can't see it being a new Sky News. Maybe it's a long game

Never mind. Sky Arts doesn't work on the Freeview app. OF COURSE it doesn't.

@alexreid1964 @_williamdoyle Yeah NOW TV 7 day free trial, cancel it right after setting it up.. bobs yer uncle. It’ll be on freeview Sky Arts channel again but probably at a ridiculous hour in the morning

I literally never watch Freeview. I made the mistake of switching it on and remembered how much I hate being bombarded with betting and gambling ads.

  • LeeThacker2 Lee Thacker (@LeeThacker2) reported

@FauxChisels @_Nightingales Can anybody help? I don't have Freeview or Sky so I downloaded the Sky Go app on my laptop but it's not working. I tried watching The Art Of Architecture to test it out but it says Sky Go is currently unavailable. It's looking like I won't get to see the film😕

What happened next truly happened, due to positioning around the table, only myself & the boy could see the TV, he accidentally typed in the number for a freeview **** channel. Not sure what to do, I elected to ignore what he had done & head-down, nibbled on the samosa (3/5)

  • fingers_terry Terry_Fish_Fingers (@fingers_terry) reported

@Paul_Ilett @virginmedia Every single paid for subscription tv service will offer it as freeview. Just don't watch it if you don't agree with it. You need to realise that some people want to enjoy its fresh alternate offering.

  • WooTube Andy Wootton (@WooTube) reported

@CarlaDoris Manhattan T1 Freeview box £35, if your PC had HDMI-in. Bought my boy the satellite version because had Sky dish but crap TV reception.
