@coster_ray @WonPeople Incidentally the subscription model, as you must know, cannot work with Freeview (the most popular way for the poor and elderly to access television). So they’re a tad screwed aren’t they?

  • MadMitch1929 MadMitch (@MadMitch1929) reported

@YesterdayTweets Who cares. Freeview is just a joke now. Having to retune every other month is causing great problems for the elderly.

  • EdScottLondon Ed Scott (@EdScottLondon) reported

@paincave1 I don’t worry for the bbc or the government. There are a lot of issues - the license fee is an outdated way of finding it when it is totally impossible to force people. Subs won’t work with Freeview. Only option is directly fund it out of our taxes.

  • thescoogeman walter pancott (@thescoogeman) reported

@bod_uherald Blocked if trying to watch it via Sky but available with no issues on freeview. My channel is 866.

  • mosiestearn Maureen Stearn (@mosiestearn) reported

Watching FREEVIEW Drama channel last evening, Inspector Lynley. Used 2B a 2-hour slot. Last night it was still a 2-hour slot BUT with every 10 minutes of drama there were 5 minutes of adverts. Almost an hour's worth of drama cut out. Most of it made no sense at all.

  • RonanCollins29 DjRonanC #RestoreTheSnyderVerse #ReleaseTheAyerCut (@RonanCollins29) reported

@SAORVIEW Not many channels, it be great if you added music, more entertainment and movie channels to your service we are living in 2022 and the UK has over 85 Freeview and Ireland has 11 channels. What's the point of paying for a TV licence.

  • edstub207 Eddie Stubbington (@edstub207) reported

Sky forces you to have a specific bundle with some packages and says "You get 300 Channels for £25 a month" meanwhile Freeview has 170 of them already & most of the new ones are garbage like Poker TV and some random news channels.

  • lottiesblue lottie 💖 (@lottiesblue) reported

I didn’t know who ******** that was I just wanted to watch disney channel but mum and dad said **** the 1% you’ll watch freeview

  • Takethatjoe Gerald Smith 🤢 (@Takethatjoe) reported

@Ange_9_ @darrengrimes_ So you think advertising is going to raise an extra £3.7 billion? The BBC share maintenance of freeview, freeview is the biggest digital platform and you casually say they’ll go subscription, not everyone has a fast reliable broadband service and you’re assuming millions

  • sgordon_the87 Ste Gordon (@sgordon_the87) reported

@russty_russ In SD it’s on 231, but on HD it’s 107. I’m not sure how that works but there you go. RT’s HD service isn’t too far behind it on Freeview either.
