@FreeviewAdvice Hi, My TV is displaying ‘no signal’ this evening. Is there a problem with Freeview ? Or perhaps it is something else at my end. Thanks.

@JCalvert_music Not sure about that. Their intended audience already has YouTube to see this stuff on. Flicking through Freeview sucks. Maybe there'll be some traction with soundbite snippets being shared online? But I just can't see it being a new Sky News. Maybe it's a long game

They sometimes lock the door and we have unreliable WiFi so often have to reset it. So at night when it goes off, we just have to wait and hope it comes back on. And even when it is working, the signal upstairs is really bad. We don't even have freeview so rely on WiFi for TV.

@BritishAlba Spot on. The fact the only news channel that i can watch on freeview tv is al jazeera is ridiculous. I should be able to watch my state broadcaster or other uk based news channels but its got so bad i am forced to watch american and middle eastern news channels

@RichardWellings At the rate people are cancelling their licences, it’s unlikely the decision will be the BBC’s to make. But, as you say, very few would choose to pay for the BBC as a subscription service. Their future lies in commercial, freeview, tv, like ITV, Channel 4 and all the others.
