  @MTGraveStudio our small town got cable TV, my parents were at my grandparents down the street, I was home alone, there was an HBO “freeview” showing ALIEN. I was 7. Had nightmares for months, couldn’t tell mom why bc it was rated R & I’d get in trouble Still think its the best horror film.

  @superTV247 Simple answer of course would just be to let viewers decide and make the tv licence voluntary. If people want the BBC they will pay for it. The licence is a poll tax - the poorest and the richest pay the same - and very regressive. Why force the poor to pay to watch freeview tv

  @dskiuk2 @Danrocsky76 @cordbusters I went Paris last year and our tv where we stayed was through through aerial, 50 odd channels and every single one of the was HD. Freeview now is terrible in 2026, full of shovelware channels and hardly any HD channels, SD channels look awful as well.

  The BBC freeview digital signal is so bad in Devon Pixilated on & off then a complete loss during the England game? All other channels bar BBC2 worked fine. Had to watch on the laggy BBCi player that was also problematic. I paid for this service. Piss poor service.

  @Itinerantguy It's a corporate circle jerk that never ends. They just give awards to themselves though circuitous routes. Only the retards with freeview still believe anything that comes from their pursed anuses. Sadly, there are a LOT of retards with freeview.

  @DanielHussey2 Dont think it would be good having Down Fermanagh on RTE news channel. It has limited coverage in the north . It's not on Freeview or cable or satliight in the north and saorview is limited in Co Down due to morne mountain shadow. Not the promotion the Tailteann cup was promised

  @manumally @wazzak23 Ah for me radio is actually faster that freeview lol. At the moment seems to be just a few seconds tho. Having said that I don’t think matterface is as bad as ppl make out to be fair
