  Im not very happy with sky , wind knocked out dish so a week with no tv! Had to buy Freeview box , not happy. Don’t even start me on price hike or mobile issues and then there’s the broadband! Grrrrr

  @WhichUK For live events, internet speed isn’t everything. For reliability and lowest delay, broadcast TV still wins: Freeview, satellite or cable. Fibre streaming is great but usually behind “live”. 5G/4G/Starlink can work well, but depend more on signal, congestion and load.

  It's a good thing I am not reliant on terrestrial TV as the signal is as choppy as **** tonight. Freeview over the net is perfect. Been the same since the Bilsdale transmitter caught fire.

  freely the best freeview out there. needs the Internet to watch tv but then doesnt connect to the internet and when it does connect, the tv doesnt work. 6 months I've had this tv and this **** doesnt work

  Worst case scenario on That's TV channels on Freeview I'm posting this because Freeview channel 75 That's Entertainment deadline is over and nothing been broadcasting yet the deadline was on Wednesday 22nd July 2026. Freeview channel 7 & 8 That's Local channels are not affected by this. All That's channels on Freeview will be removed from the EPG without notice.   @superTV247 Simple answer of course would just be to let viewers decide and make the tv licence voluntary. If people want the BBC they will pay for it. The licence is a poll tax - the poorest and the richest pay the same - and very regressive. Why force the poor to pay to watch freeview tv

  @connor_naismith @GMcGarrySport @MarkBirtles Crewe fan here, like a lot of our (small and very tinpot) fanbase I won’t bother travelling 20 minutes down the road for today’s game, because it isn’t a derby. Do I listen on freeview or will it be on DAB as we’re playing a big club?

  Precisely and if the BBC want to discontinue running the freeview service and save money on upkeep of the transmitters why do we have to pay the licence fee. If you decide to only watch non BBC live channels online which you pay for by having broadband then the licence is wrong.
