Im not very happy with sky , wind knocked out dish so a week with no tv! Had to buy Freeview box , not happy. Don’t even start me on price hike or mobile issues and then there’s the broadband! Grrrrr

@BBCNEandCumbria I live on the north side of the river Wear in Sunderland and my tv signal came from that transmitter. I've retuned both my tv and freeview box but the alternative signal isn't as strong and has interruptions to it.

@8252Hazel Nope and as the transnitter is down only on DAB radio .... Nothing else ... I think if you download the Freeview app they have BBC tees on it ...not sure if it will work when game time comes

So, at home full Sky, Netflix, Prime and Disney+ and my children never watch TV. In London, no Internet. They are utterly fascinated by Grand Designs on Freeview.

@FreeviewAdvice Fortunately my TV has freesat. Freeview play is terrible and you can't easily watch live TV on it. I fear I may have turned to the dark side forever

@RadioToday I live in the Bilsdale area @RadioToday and it is day two without the transmitter not working. I have access to my DAB+ Radio and Virgin Media Cable. But I do also watch Freeview a lot.

BBC One SD is working on Freeview but BBC One HD isn't, the Bilsdale signal is weak and unstable. But the picture just went off. P.S. The English regional programmes won't be in HD until next year. #Bilsdale

Bad news: Bilsdale transmitter down due to fire meaning 1 million homes will not get freeview TV services... Good news: This means they will miss 'Love Island'...Every cloud etc; #wednesdaythought #Bilsdale
