@R59V8 I don't know what we pay, so I don't know how good a deal we get. But at least with Freeview you are close enough to the big mast to get no issues. Up here it is terrible - The slightest tropo and it's unwatchable

@ceincein Deliberately watching the 10-minute freeview just praying to get caught by their maw. We're not on WhatsApp or anything but her and my auntie used to live together and we sometimes hang out at family things.

@pde62 @Bazza315 @AvonandsomerRob "I think charities should have the power to take away people's TV packages on pain of starvation, while the government - instead of them proper support - installs Freeview. Because my brain is mush and assume they don't have this already, but I want to punish the poor further"

@AvonandsomerRob Damn right they should. Also, the number of outgoings on luxuries like SKY TV, Netflix etc. plenty of choice on freeview.

What have you done @RadioTimes? The online TV Guide I've used for years has been broken in multiple ways. Choosing things like 'Freeview' breaks it. Lazy loading as I scroll never completes, channel numbers aren't shown. It's hard to scroll vertically without it scrolling time😵

@timpez123 It can be, it entirely depends on your Wi-Fi, it relies on that entirely, if your wife is down the TV is pretty much defunct apart from if you have an arial in it for free view. Same applies if you cancel the sky subscription, the TV is basically a dead tv other than freeview
