Hmm, funny how loss of Freeview signal is corrected by; re-tuning, pulling out all the aerial cables, changing them around, tuning again, looking at what way the aerial outside is facing, plugging in the original cables and then re-tuning. Fecking work the first time! 😡

@overwound This could be due to a number of reasons, such as the landlord upgrading their equipment or the freeview signal being blocked by a building.

@yacc143 I m referring to the 99.4% mentioned in late 1980s IBA Engineering announcements, and the 98.5% mentioned for Freeview. I do not know the *actual* level of Freeview coverage. It is hard for me to get a signal from my proper transmitter, Wenvoe. I can get Mendip off a knife.

@FreeviewAdvice Can you help me resolve the FVP-300 error so I can use freeview apps on my new tv?

@FreeviewAdvice it is an extremely rare board that I have and these freeview and catch-up apps were already on the board for people to test the apps and develop them for that tv. But the good news is that it is not a problem with freeview play itself. I will let you know what happens today.

And does this apply to Freeview Play TVs also when not being connected to an internet feed. Many thanks, have an issue with a TV to try and resolve

@FreeviewTV @bbc can you confirm that TVs or devices that have the Freeview logo must give free access via an aerial (signal dependant) to all your listed TV & radio stations, without need for any additional internet connections and if so are there guidelines that can be sent?

@BearryPolaris Yeah my new TV is some sort of gaming monitor. Has a way better picture and the Freeview to watch TV on it with but no smart ****. I wasn't interested I'd rather have a Firestick and I've a mini pc hooked up to my TV too.

@Ainsworth7Jo @GBNEWS I am an engineer. The conversation usually goes like this:- "So you work in a garage." "No." "Could you do the MoT on my car?" "No. I'm a graduate electronics engineer." "Could you fix my telly? I can't get BBC3 on Freeview."
