    @MrAbelMagwitch A lot of University students also have access to "Box of Broadcasts" an online catchup service which can show tv programs from all the main freeview channels... they can stream BBC content on without needing a TV license.

    @samrenke @Channel4 I watch All4 through a Panasonic Freeview box and I don’t have issues.

  • Pipa_Riggs GM2UWX-BLM 1312 (@Pipa_Riggs) reported

    Freeview recorder £130 or add a HDD to my telly for £40. Help me guys this decision is too hard.

  • GriffAurora Griff Griffith 💙 (@GriffAurora) reported

    @RaymondSnoddy @EvansTheCrime Government have admitted that current free-to-air technology cannot support a subscription service, which requires some form of encryption & password to work. The cost of retrofitting Freeview and every TV in the land would be massive - who will pay?

  • GoldenPotato333 333 (@GoldenPotato333) reported

    @Naked_stef @TheSun You can have a TV. But it's whether they use freeview or sky. Most TV is garbage and you can normally access many things online anyway. Plus who wants to pay TV license for the Jimmy Savile Channel anyway?

  • superwonderstar The Industrious Ant (@superwonderstar) reported

    @kaybar007 Any broadcast service - satellite, cable, or Freeview - has to obey the Ofcom size rules, no matter what technology they use. The examples you give of services like Netflix are online services, not broadcast, and not regulated by Ofcom.

  • ChrisTheDJ Chris Merriman (@ChrisTheDJ) reported

    @htwcentral @FreeviewAdvice @FreeviewTV Yes. LG says it's coz they broadcast in MHEG instead of HBB. This is a lie. They all broadcast in both now. The fault is with the firmware but they're saying not. If they physically can't pick up all channels (as opposed reception issues) it shouldn't be sold as Freeview Play.

  • arcarver87 Alex R Carver Author (@arcarver87) reported

    Bloody BT Freeview signal is crap this morning here in Bristol. No idea why, though, the weather's okay, so that can't be affected it.

  • Mark56623345 mark Hughes (@Mark56623345) reported

    @christigoesloco @a516digital Not a problem on other platforms of course, and not a problem on the freeview fallback system, but a problem for older tv and box users.

  • Smylers2 Smylers (@Smylers2) reported

    @cleanfeed_ttvr Thanks. Where can it go on Freeview? Its former position of channel 7 appears to be mainly being hogged by a couple of group of stations so bad they don't even have schedules on their websites.

  • Gunnarssonnnn Sonny Gunn (@Gunnarssonnnn) reported

    @KeepUpWithKFabe @SCPBPodcast The twitch stream doesn't work in the UK, it says its not supported in my country. Gutted really as ive watched Impact since it was TNA from 2007 onwards on freeview channels, youtube, watchwdotcom etc
