@MrAbelMagwitch A lot of University students also have access to "Box of Broadcasts" an online catchup service which can show tv programs from all the main freeview channels... they can stream BBC content on without needing a TV license.

@KarenStopHate @WasOnceLoved This is 2021 not 1979. For benefits you need a mobile phone and an online account. They don’t go to the job centre to sign on anymore. All TVs today are flat screens and as analogue signal has been switched off you need at least Freeview. This a classic case of a false analogy

With a rising British star it's important her finals are accessible free to air. Eurosport may use Quest for them, but they're likely to lose their HD channel soon thanks to slow and regressive progress on switching Freeview to HD.

When our TV was installed the guy said we didn't need to worry about the satellite signal dropping when the weather was bad because the freeview would easily run through the Sky. Well guess what, it is absolutely pouring down with rain and we've lost all signal!

@Penelop11785074 @OwenJones84 @GBNEWS Unfair to judge on a YT clip of anything. Shame your freeview signal is so poor. You can download the GBNews app onto your phone however and watch it live there.

@arqiva To anyone commenting here. To date, I have not seen Arqiva reply here. It may be that they reply by DM, but I'm really not convinced. The Freeview answers read like 'how long is a piece of string'. A few MPs are pushing the issue.

@Dolly_Darren Ok. Mine did the same to me. I switched it off at the mains (along with the Freeview box), promised never to watch ITV3 again, left it for about an hour and when I switched it back on it came back to life. Sadly, not designed to last now!
