Only reason I mentioned that song (Tarzan Boy) is because I've been watching a lot on NOW 80s on Freeview channel 83. I didn't realise that apart from some good songs, how much crap there was as well in the 80s 😂

@jonnyt78 Not at all. Was supposed to be awful except from some certain sections of the media. Some of the games were of freeview over here as well, I didn’t have a clue

Viewers able to receive the temporary Freeview service from Eston Nab in Redcar, Hartlepool and area, a reminder this only carries the main Public Service Broadcasters, so you won't get as many channels as you did directly from #Bilsdale.

Over 3 hrs I've spent trying to figure out why the Freeview side of my BT box lost all the channels with no signal. Stripped wires removed plugs...checked other TVs ...only to finally find out the local transmitter is on 🔥.. not happy.....bedtime.....😠😠

@joshoconnorchen Fun story. I once had some installers place a freeview antenna on top of vocus for an IPTV rig. They pooched something up, and took down 4G for 2 weeks in Albany. MBIE were involved with scanners trying to work out who was outputting **** on the same frequency. Fun times!

Hi @FreeviewAdvice, I live in the North East of England (Middlesbrough) and my Freeview went off but when I ran another scan it's only found 34 channels when I once had over 150? My signal appears to have dropped also. Most of the 34 channels are unwatchable due to pixels. Help?

Interesting, I signed up to a forum account on Digitalspy forums and had to wait for an admin to authorise it, but the account ended up being deleted 24 hours later. All I wanted to do was make a thread to query about a freeview transmitter issue. Incompetent mods. .@digitalspy

BILLSDALE TRANSMITTER PROBLEMS DUE TO FIREM CAUSING TELEVISION RECEPTION PROBLEMS.THOSE WHO HAVE SKY OR FREEVIEW WILL NOT BE AFFECTED. REPAIR TIME COULD BE ONE OR TWO WEEKS.

@thestrayferret Bad news cos Freeview is a much sharper picture than the dark dull picture thru SKY satelite! Also there is no TFM radio in my car but Radio York is available!
