Skipai Otter (@skipaiotter) reported@BackPawScratch Freeview is basically a rebroadcast of what is being beamed down from that really and then retransmitting it via airwaves. They're going to lose that feed or whatever Astra decides to put up as placeholder when channel goes off.

NUFC1892 (@GEORDIEJOHN1982) reported@FreeviewAdvice it is an extremely rare board that I have and these freeview and catch-up apps were already on the board for people to test the apps and develop them for that tv. But the good news is that it is not a problem with freeview play itself. I will let you know what happens today.

I think RT is uploaded to satellite from Moscow, then downloaded to consumer satellite dishes and relay stations for terrestrial broadcast, e.g. via Freeview So removing from the satellite should also take down Freeview

Steve... (@FixatedOn) reported@yorkyqui It will likely never hit freeview, it's an Apple TV show, exclusively on Apple TV. If you want to watch it on a laptop or tablet I'm happy to share my login. My tv has Apple TV as an app, like Iplayer...

This broadcast has been terrible shite all night and when they said switch to BBC TWO what if the broadcasting had failed to carry on for arguments sake and miss something! End of the day, its freeview so news can go any channel! Dont see your problem on it
