@MrAbelMagwitch A lot of University students also have access to "Box of Broadcasts" an online catchup service which can show tv programs from all the main freeview channels... they can stream BBC content on without needing a TV license.

@My5_tv Hi folks, seem to be having issues watching the latest episode of Law and Order SVU S20 E8. On selecting it, the episode landing page doesn't load, just a black screen, and then need to reload the player. That's on Freeview Play on two Panasonic boxes. Any ideas?

To continue if I switch to. "freeview", my TV is fine on the same channels that Virgin is refusing to play properly. This has been ongoing for 4/5 days now. Yet you own chech status is not showing any issues.

@martiansurvivor Hi, Freeview TV requires an active aerial connection to receive our service, unfortunately, this is the only way to get the TV channels via Freeview. You may be able to find something online for a different provider. Thanks, Dev.

@Peter_Fitz Now I only know them as freeview/on demand apps, because my antenna broke 3 years ago and I never bothered to fix it.

Freeview Advice (@FreeviewAdvice) reported
@FedupRepat @FreeviewTV Hi, Freeview apps are an add-on service, as the TV does not have an aerial input built-in, there is nothing to add to that, you can receive a similar service as our iOS and Android app available on phones/tablets by downloading the TV players separately. Hope this helps, Dev.

@CourtTVUK Why have you taken Court TV from Freeview? It says ‘service closed’? Is it now only available on pay platforms such as Sky/Freesat? Neither are totally free, for FreeSat you need a box and dish. Freeview is available to all. Can’t understand why youclosed it?

With a bit of warm weather and a terrible signal on BBC channels on Freeview it's no wonder people are ditching this outdated medium for on demand services. I'd rather watch YouTube than standard TV now.

@CourtTV hello. Please can you explain why this service has been removed from freeview? I watched this daily. Thanks.
