@Page_888 @russty_russ When there's a cheaper alterative for a quarter of the price, and there's a cost of living crisis - it's an easy cutback. If I was Radio Times King, I'd make print edition Freeview channels only and try and get price down to £2. Would mean a lot of changes to get there.

@LauraRebeccaa @tvshows_addict1 @KCoubrough17 I'm watching it all again to get proper sense on seasons I haven't been able to see. Season 16&17 are on Freeview with ads but too many and then season 23 I found on Hulu got rid of that app because it was stupid amounts of ads every 2 seconds

@5_News In Londond on freeview channel 105 the lip sink is so bad its not watchable. On freeview ch5 it's bad but you can just about watch.

@noiseresearch My Dad used to call TV "chewing gum for the brain" I am watching less and less of it these days and have cut my Sky subscription down to the bare bones ( we get a very limited Freeview service of a handful of channels and there are signal issues in our area)

@rossaverde @BBCTees @amy_oakden The BBC applies for grants to help fund its research into broadcasting technology that has contributed to developments such as Freeview and DAB digital radio. In 2017-18 it received a grant from the EU of €1,282,331 (£1,145,572).

@victoria_racing I had a weird one from a service group but to do with Kogan lack of service. Can't see Optus in this unless someone is listening. Or reading..all I want is an app fix. Not paying for fixing freeview

  • SocialSpeedway Speedway Social (@SocialSpeedway) reported

@Lewis_Bickley I remember when it was mentioned in the Eurosport deal that highlights would be available on Quest on Freeview, which in theory should raise the profile by allowing more people to see it. Never heard it mentioned since.

@tweethue For info, right now i cant get any external source to work. My freeview box or nvidia shield. Huesync reporting ‘no signal detected’ on both. 😡 Before u ask im using hi end 8k new hdmi cables for everything

  • explodingwalrus Carl Draper (@explodingwalrus) reported

Don't buy @panasonic Freeview recorders if you want to keep more than a thousand recordings per drive, because that's the stupid arbitrary limit they've set on drives. Want to fill up that 6TB hard drive? Tough, the arbitrary limit means you'll barely full it up at all
