@ARRIS what went wrong with the freesat boxes uhd hardware freezes, software poor, compared to youview and freeview this is extremely disappointing and Alevel it students could have designed a better less faulty system. Without Prejudice

I'm furious (again!) at the constant parade of black faces in ads telling us off because we don't bow down and adore them! Latest one, nauseating in its wokeness, is on Freeview Drama -at least with recording progs I can whip through the ads. but live tv is something else! F OFF!

  • PaulCarmichaelV Paul Carmichael (@PaulCarmichaelV) reported

@goose_fire @LBC “Create issues”? The licence fee pays for transmitter maintenance. Freeview is the most popular way for the elderly & poor to receive TV & relies on the transmitter network. So the elderly and the poor can either pay double for Sky or we can all pay an extra tax for maintenance.

@LGUKCare I’ve just purchased a OLED55CX6LA and am having problems getting Freeview Play to work. Basically from the TV Guide I can scroll forward on the current day but not back? The ‘back ‘ arrow is greyed out. Have I done something wrong on install?

  • Notsoslowcoach Karen Hancock (@Notsoslowcoach) reported

@honor_rhodes @virginmedia @MillarCaroline Agreed. Left Virgin 12 mo ago: too often loss of broadband service here in Greenwich, plus price kept going up and ended up paying almost £100 a month for broadband, landline and basic TV. I now use Plusnet for phone/ broadband and Freeview + Firestick for TV. Much happier.

@Melancholic4Evr My nans the same. She doesn’t have one direct debit, doesn’t even have a router for the internet. Just a tv and freeview box. They’ll make them trip down a shop with a payment card no doubt

  • MungoMouthpiece mungo's mouthpiece (@MungoMouthpiece) reported

@cheshiretoad Freeview is *not* free! Although you can watch Catch-up on main Channels, apart from BBC i-player. If your TV is plugged in,the bastards can still prosecute. Solution: Don't watch News & dross & be VERY selective on the rare occasions you watch. And please don't buy a licence.

@Jamessteel2008 Never heard of freeview? Not too bright yourself are you?

@piersmorgan Trouble is Piers is that my dad and his mates all had free this and that, housing benefit and pension credit but also had full Sky Sports package. Fair dos to him but wrong. I'm up for a subscription service. My kids never watch Freeview channels. They are 30+
