@nowtvhelp It’s ok they’ll tell to do the exact same things I’ve done already. It’s working now but for how long. And your live chat very rarely works. Or there’s a long wait to speak to someone. When the passes are finished I’ll just cancel and stick to freeview amazon prime and Netflix

@SuperRetroid @jonesthescribe @MrTom Fair point. :) And in fairness, I have never had to use an internal Freeview in a telly in over 14 years. I always thought they'd use the aerial, not the leftover debris from Sky.

@virginmedia Been a Virgin customer for years. Cancelled Tv but have broadband and phone. Even my Freeview channels have been blocked on my boxes!! How churlish can a company get??😳 Freeview channels?! Show some compassion to your customers

@GBNEWS I live on the island of Islay off the west coast of Scotland. I wish to view GB news on my TV. My freeview signal is poor so channel 236 is not available. I do not have Sky as I generally stream my TV viewing via broadband. How can I get GB news on my TV?

@Alexand85266011 @femme_uk @GBNEWS Freeview isn't very reliable for me either. I'm only 10 miles [as the crow flies] from the South Yorkshire Transmitter, yet I can only receive 6 of the 15 HD channels available. BBC1, BBC2, ITV1, Channel 4, Channel 5 and CBBC. The signal quality/strength is on average 80%.

@GBNEWS gen qu for techie types: Why is there a synchronisation problem from the studio but not on the live video links? I’m watching on freeview - does that make a difference? Very curious but keep it simple - I’m a historian not IT.

@GBNEWS Terrible sound levels, I’m constantly turning volume up/down. Audio not syncing with picture on Freeview. Let’s hope it improves.

Oh and the picture quality is awful - fuzzy on Freeview, and on the wrong framerate on Sky.

@JulietJeater Send it back for a refund and look at TVs with a Freeview Player installed. Not sure if this is down to BBC or Apple - had to speak with various Apple people around the globe before I ended up with an Irish one who understood the problem.

@JasonManford If she’s watching a sky or freeview box through it try a new HDMI lead. I’ve seen that issue before. If it’s doing it from it’s built in Tuner then it’s likely the panel and is for repair/replace.

@GBNEWS Watching on Freeview..aweful picture quality and sound.. doesn't look professional at all... hopefully teething problems but if it doesn't improve people won't bother.
