@AmigoNews20 I suppose but they also give educational programmes for kids, the Proms, funding to young people in the arts & humanities, international concerts which raise millions in revenue, & they support Freeview for people that cannot afford Netflix & the like.

Hey, if you thought that film adaptation of The Dark Tower was a load of **** (I call it The **** Tower), but you weren’t sure, it’s on Freeview now. 5star.

@afneil I hope this gets noticed. I was really looking forward to watching GB News but there are hurdles! Where I live, Freeview has 16 channels, Virgin Media are miles away and I'll never subscribe to Sky. I do have Freesat though. Any chance of launching on that platform?

  • Gosia79K lucy (@Gosia79K) reported from Edinburgh, Scotland

@BBCWorld No wonder! Freeview is crap and we are sitting at home!

@MarkM1177 @HopkinsBRFC @BBCDanielS Do Netflix: Provide programming specifically for the disabled? Provide programmes in Welsh and Gaelic? Provide resources to every school and college in the UK? Maintain the transmitters in which Freeview (the most popular way for the elderly & poor to access TV) broadcast?

@donnyjuff We've had Freesat since 2010. It's done us well, no real complaints. We watch pretty much everything on catch-up or streaming services now. There are some channels that aren't on Freesat that are on Freeview (Dave is one that spring to mind), but as I said, we've had no issues.
