According to my local tv aerial guy we have only another 18 months of satellite service left, we latched onto a S.Korean one. Freeview will disappear, everything will have to be subscription.

Steven Dawson (@Steven59066) reported@peach_vick17978 I hope freeview doesn't get shut down in 2034, if it does, I won't be able to watch u and the babestation beauties anymore, I love u so much, X me back

BrendanB (@Brendan80704486) reported@superTV247 Simple answer of course would just be to let viewers decide and make the tv licence voluntary. If people want the BBC they will pay for it. The licence is a poll tax - the poorest and the richest pay the same - and very regressive. Why force the poor to pay to watch freeview tv
-
Jane Fleming (@fleming77) reportedThe government is considering the future of television distribution, which could affect the prospects of the digital terrestrial platform that is marketed at Freeview. and the public service broadcasters that fund it, wants to switch if off by 2034.

Bigwows 💚🤍💜 ✖️✖️🏴 (@bigwows) reported@cmairsy @virginmedia Zen for internet - rock solid and great customer service, not that you’ll need it. But after ditching Virgin we went down the freeview route, I’m afraid.

Matt Quinn - The Caledonian Television Company. (@Matt_Q_OnX) reported@iggy1966 @BENEFITS_NEWS They don't really, Chris... However the 'Freely' service currently being touted to replace Freeview in about 15 years time IS a streamed service which WILL be available via set top boxes/inbuilt IP provision in TV sets and probably an 'App'.
