@KarmaUnc @GMB @joshwiddicombe Yes, but the BBC is a significant contributor to Arquiva who own the masts. They also support Freeview and Freesat.

@Ossyref I know but it’s not on Freeview. Not everyone has YouTube for TV or ability to watch on app. We ok as have Virgin but it’s still crap they ain’t showing it for others.

Looks like this @SkyUK pin requirement is utter crap when I can go to the same programme requiring a pin on sky that is on freeview at the exact same time without having to put in a pin! @SkyHelpTeam

@a516digital I personally am happy for an ip future, if and when it finally takes off. But i think the bbc might be too ambitious for 2030. Freeview is a good service where you can get it.

@Matt_1269501 What would you do - upgrade the UK's internet infrastructure so that everyone can get the BBC over 5G or the internet (reasonably impossible) or replace Freeview with an encrypted service? (also impossible)
