@jaxlfc_jj @YaTerrynorris70 It’s not restricted to the BBC. If you watch or record live TV on any channel - either through your TV or through a website - then you need a TV licence. This applies whether you receive Freesat, Freeview or a pay-TV service in your home, & whether or not you watch BBC channels.

@GBNEWS Still not in (awful) SD or HD on satellite, but is on Freeview (in awful SD). Don't be like @SkyNews as the only news outlet not in FTA HD. #GBNews

  • robinjuste Robin Juste Emery (@robinjuste) reported

@jameswaters I still use one of those to spit the output of our antenna to two rooms. Thankfully we have a strong enough signal from Bluebell Hill to maintain a stable Freeview signal.

  • Dr_Plinius Dr 💙 A. Heuer (@Dr_Plinius) reported

Wretched Freeview! Why can’t they put the normal channel, and the channel+1 next to each other in the listings! You have to scroll down into the yonder channels to find the +1s!!!! And why isn’t there are BBC1+1 and BBC2+1????

  • mikes1988 Michael Edwards (@mikes1988) reported

@ppdoddy I do vaguely remember 5 being turned on. I was probably 9! We didn't get a great signal from Black Mountain (lived at Merville at the time), so it was a bit noisy compared to the Divis transmitter. Freeview sorted that out.

  • PaulGallant11 Paul Gallant (@PaulGallant11) reported

@Will68796790 I have for many years paid through Xbox as I am a carer for my Mother who watches freeview channels on the other TV I use my Xbox one to view BT Sports, and I would not risk using link's as they are unstable not on Xbox

  • MerpsOver9000 TYC_merp (@MerpsOver9000) reported

@BlackPanthaaYT @lomadia The app on the family polaroid tv sucks but we got a Freeview box and the app on there works fine. I like watching videos on my laptop but when listening to music I prefer chrome casting to the tv

  • AmigaBoing AmigaBoing.net Blog (@AmigaBoing) reported

@FreeviewTV why is Barnoldswick, BB18 5BX, Lancashire still getting a limited Freeview Service, (I think its West Martin Transmitter) - Analogue was switched off decades ago? (asking for a friend) - He doesnt even get @ChallengeTV or @TalkingPicsTV channels🤬

  • IanDavies84 Ian (@IanDavies84) reported

@bt_uk OK cheers. I will double check through my freeview on my TV though. I used to be able to get it but maybe somethings changed. Cheers for your help

  • TalkingPicsTV Talking Pictures TV (@TalkingPicsTV) reported

@landiejm Sadly no, it's TV only. Freeview 81. Sky 328. Freesat 306. Virgin 445. And not a stupid question at all.

  • hischeekiness CheekyMcB (@hischeekiness) reported

@Mark56623345 @a516digital The OFCOM EPG rules brought in in January this year mean PSB channels have to be in the Top 24 EPG slots at least, so 124 is the absolute lowest for Sky BBC3 broadcast return. The rules coming in were why all the Freeview channels shuffled down 1 for BBC4 getting 24 in Scotland.
