Her smart TV supports Netflix, Prime, Sky, but even if she could afford those platforms, she would be terrified of touching a different button on the remote. She sleeps very little and the TV is her only companion. If she can’t return to her familiar menu, she panics. I’ve had desperate calls from her in the evening, petrified that she’s ‘broken’ her TV. The blackout was total but it's all back now. Are you aware of any transmission failure? However a crucial Star Trek Enterprise episode on Sky mix at 11:00 p.m. failed to record, and retrieving it requires a Paramount subscription! @FreeviewAdvice

According to my local tv aerial guy we have only another 18 months of satellite service left, we latched onto a S.Korean one. Freeview will disappear, everything will have to be subscription.
