  • AndyMcK1982 Andy McKeown (@AndyMcK1982) reported from Liverpool, England

@jaxlfc_jj @YaTerrynorris70 It’s not restricted to the BBC. If you watch or record live TV on any channel - either through your TV or through a website - then you need a TV licence. This applies whether you receive Freesat, Freeview or a pay-TV service in your home, & whether or not you watch BBC channels.

  • mooseandme1 Moose And Me (@mooseandme1) reported from Great Harwood, England

@Ossyref I know but it’s not on Freeview. Not everyone has YouTube for TV or ability to watch on app. We ok as have Virgin but it’s still crap they ain’t showing it for others.

  • StevenNT Steven Jones (@StevenNT) reported

@Mark56623345 @a516digital for me the communal dish is 90cm and on the roof as part of the Communal Integrated Reception system so exposed to the rain when it really does throw it down and lose sat reception for a short period so I fall back to Freeview option for a bit on that one

  • MsAmiiEvlynB Amii not Amy (@MsAmiiEvlynB) reported

    Anyone having #Freeview issues?

  • Mark56623345 mark Hughes (@Mark56623345) reported

@a516digital What's needed however is to change the technology used and support a better system, such as DVB T2. I don,t see streaming as a threat to freeview or freesat for that matter. As , the title says it's free. Streaming is all paid for. Just ask my neighbours!.

  • sfh300 Steve H (@sfh300) reported

@FreeviewAdvice @FreeviewTV Freeview seems to be down in Birmingham too now.

  • StevenNT Steven Jones (@StevenNT) reported

@Mark56623345 @a516digital I'm currently a Sky Q customer as it's what I have at my new build apartment, Freeview and Freesat don't quite fit my uses but for as a basic level it's not too bad and fall back to Freeview when very severe rain hiders reception

  • WatsonJKnights Watson J.Knights (@WatsonJKnights) reported

@MsAmiiEvlynB @FreeviewAdvice @FreeviewTV Mine went like this a few months ago. I contacted freeview they told me lots of things 2 try none worked. Was at home after a week of no freeview looked down & thought what if I disconnect signal booster maybe that will make a difference..it did. If you have booster disconnect it

  • CharlieandNige Nige & Charlie in Cornwall 🏳️‍🌈 (@CharlieandNige) reported

@FreeviewTV Curious to know in the good old days here in Gorran Haven with analogue TV we might only of had 3/4 channels. Now with Freeview in certain weather conditions we get poor or no signal for days. We can retune and get French channels Can anything be done to resolve it?

  • orkitecht85 sparky t k o (@orkitecht85) reported

Today’s first world problem: switching to the I-Player for the Hundred match because the picture for BBC2 is a bit fuzzy on Freeview, and being a bit sulky that it’s about 30 seconds delayed.

  • FreeviewAdvice Freeview Advice (@FreeviewAdvice) reported

@pigletish @roselc04 Hi Anneli, You can acquire Freeview boxes from most retailers, both online and in-store! In regards to indoor aerials, we do not recommend them as they are not guaranteed to provide a signal, they depend on a good line of sight to the transmitter to receive a signal. Dev.
