@jaxlfc_jj @YaTerrynorris70 It’s not restricted to the BBC. If you watch or record live TV on any channel - either through your TV or through a website - then you need a TV licence. This applies whether you receive Freesat, Freeview or a pay-TV service in your home, & whether or not you watch BBC channels.

@danwootton @GBNEWS Freeview 236 is probably a number too far for everyone’s favourite Countdown star that never was.

  • mtchknght8 MichaelMITCHKnight (@mtchknght8) reported

@dansumption They’re being repeated on one of the **** late night Freeview channels (That’s TV / c65) Together with the original run (with Dandy Nicols Tony Booth & Una Stubs ) - which initially I found a bit *oppressive* to view (half out of concentrated ranting) but caught a subsequent

@RE_Neptune @Gooner725 @BBCiPlayer I'm guessing BBC aren't replying about why they use lower quality audio then Netflix, Sky and even their own Freeview. They went to the trouble of putting #InsideMan in UHD, then used a terrible stereo mix with weirdly loud music.

@Elemjay1 Oh that's really fantastic - now I feel confident I can go into battle with my 'freeview jesus' sword in hand. He is so ridiculous, I sometimes really want to give him a bit of a hug. And then I think, **** it, let him burn in the toxins he spews, nothing to see here etc etc.

@liambrazier Freeview currently do not offer a wifi only service. You may be able to access the broadcasters apps with wifi only on your Smart TV or set top box. Wifi only apps would not allow you to view live content. Thank you, Melissa

  • Page_888 Matthew H (@Page_888) reported

@sgordon_the87 The first set top box we had was a generic DTT box, Freeview launched a few months later, Although the ntl Digital text service featuring subscription channel listings for ITV Digital remained for a good while after Freeview launched, with daily updates.

  • htwcentral Historical Television Website (@htwcentral) reported

@RossMc11 Though given that '+1' channels are slowly being phased out (especially on Freeview but satellite as well), ITV may see its new ITV X service/on demand as the new replacement. Also of course the ITV2+1/3+1/4+1 'problem' still exists if ITV (1) still stays as ITV...
