@Ossyref I know but it’s not on Freeview. Not everyone has YouTube for TV or ability to watch on app. We ok as have Virgin but it’s still crap they ain’t showing it for others.

@jaxlfc_jj @YaTerrynorris70 It’s not restricted to the BBC. If you watch or record live TV on any channel - either through your TV or through a website - then you need a TV licence. This applies whether you receive Freesat, Freeview or a pay-TV service in your home, & whether or not you watch BBC channels.

@talkRADIO @mrmarkdolan The alternative funding. A wholly subscription model can’t be applied to radio and there is no UK news service not on freeview. So you could phase out the licence fee over and allow the BBC to compete for adv and sponsorship. I bet that will go down well with News Corp.

@manizhkin @Iightuptheroom They dropped the junior eurovision like a bad habit after 3 years. Channel 4, I could see being a good alternatively. Even Sky, to an extent. Who have the option of putting it one of their freeview channels to get around the restriction of non sky subscribers.

@Mark56623345 @a516digital The OFCOM EPG rules brought in in January this year mean PSB channels have to be in the Top 24 EPG slots at least, so 124 is the absolute lowest for Sky BBC3 broadcast return. The rules coming in were why all the Freeview channels shuffled down 1 for BBC4 getting 24 in Scotland.
