  • AndyMcK1982 Andy McKeown (@AndyMcK1982) reported from Liverpool, England

@jaxlfc_jj @YaTerrynorris70 It’s not restricted to the BBC. If you watch or record live TV on any channel - either through your TV or through a website - then you need a TV licence. This applies whether you receive Freesat, Freeview or a pay-TV service in your home, & whether or not you watch BBC channels.

  • bulldogbyrne julie byrne (@bulldogbyrne) reported from Hindley, England

@Prof_Nostalgia @TPTVEncore @freesat_tv It's just Freeview for now. We cannot make promises but will continue to consider all possibilities for the future development of the service whenever possible.

  • jbhoymolloy John Molloy (@jbhoymolloy) reported

Half the country suddenly finding the hundreds of channels on Freeview that they’ve never used. I’m currently watching some antique fella with a Peaky Blinder cap fleecing toffs of their valuable antiques.

  • sheilatester Sheila Ennis (@sheilatester) reported

@I__W______ I expect most of us are. Things not too bad except on #bbc1. I don't have Netflix but plenty to choose on Freeview.

  • mabel_samuel Mabel Samuel (@mabel_samuel) reported

@4Viewers Thank you for replying, unfortunately whilst your link works, when I try to watch via the All4 app on my BT freeview player, the only Chateau DIY listed on there is the last series from 2021. I've even tried searching for it via "last 7 days" and it's not even listed there. Help!

  • FactsStomp Phil's Train and Retro Life (@FactsStomp) reported

@a516digital Brilliant, thank you. For some reason the BBC seem slow or reluctant to update their listings which for programmes not broadcast makes my Freeview box give a "recording failed due to power loss" error.

  • FriedlanderCarl Carl Friedlander (@FriedlanderCarl) reported

@mac123_m You too poor to afford anything but Freeview? Too thick to read a book? You poor sod 🥴

  • ascottreid Scott Reid (@ascottreid) reported

@scottygb Also - and I'm not an expert in this and I could be wrong - is there not a technical issue where it's a bad idea for too many Freeview channels to show the same thing at the same time? I'd assumed that's why BBC Three and BBC Four were off the air rather than simulcasting.

  • Lemonhunny Lemonhunny (Lesley) 💉💉💉💙💙 (@Lemonhunny) reported

@Toughtruth5 @StGilesHighKirk Nobody had to have it on 24/7. If you did, you're stupid. I probably haven't watched 3 hours all told, because amazingly in 2022, there are lots and lots of other free channels, showing regular programmes, even without subscriptions (Freeview etc). Or maybe, just turn it off?

  • pigeonmount Paul Hawkins (@pigeonmount) reported

@BBCLauraKT Welcome to 'Mournhub'. Thank gawd for freeview, Netflix etc. If it really get s bad I'll dust off my videos!

  • BlueArmBar Blue (@BlueArmBar) reported

@datnofact yeah i mean clearly the british media is doing this ****. its literally the only thing on the freeview channels main channels. bloody who gives a toss.
