@jaxlfc_jj @YaTerrynorris70 It’s not restricted to the BBC. If you watch or record live TV on any channel - either through your TV or through a website - then you need a TV licence. This applies whether you receive Freesat, Freeview or a pay-TV service in your home, & whether or not you watch BBC channels.

@micronautsFan @NoContextBrits To be fair up until about 20 years ago (roughly) we had 5 whole channels haha. When satellite TV came in then Freeview as I am sure you know, it all changed but we never had the US style 200+ cable channels until quite late on.

@PBSAmerica just watching @DrJaninaRamirez on the Freeview play catch up service. I have noticed however, that the commercials are all in the wrong places, halfway through a sentence and on a couple of occasions halfway through a word. Any chance of looking at this? Thanks.

@SamsungUK I have a UE437U7020KXXU LCD and approx. 6 months ago Samsung TV Plus automatically installed and removed my Freeview channels. I managed to get rid of the channel but it keeps coming back like a bad smell every time I auto retune.
