  • AndyMcK1982 Andy McKeown (@AndyMcK1982) reported from Liverpool, England

@jaxlfc_jj @YaTerrynorris70 It’s not restricted to the BBC. If you watch or record live TV on any channel - either through your TV or through a website - then you need a TV licence. This applies whether you receive Freesat, Freeview or a pay-TV service in your home, & whether or not you watch BBC channels.

  • Page_888 Matthew H (@Page_888) reported

@scott_gamer @CITVPLUS Over in Australia there's a channel on their Freeview service called 10Shake. Apparently it mostly airs content from Nickelodeon and its name has come from the UK. As Viacom now produce "Neighbours" with 10Peach, they're now seemingly sharing names too.

  • a516digital Mike (ex-a516digital) (@a516digital) reported

...and there's not many TVs out there that do support Channel List Management (was only introduced to specs last year). So perhaps a feature to look out for the next time you are buying a Freeview Play TV.

  • ServicetechDave David Roberts (@ServicetechDave) reported

FREEVIEW DVB-T RECEPTION. There is currently a High Barometric Weather system over the UK and this is causing reception problems as regards Freeview Channels. Nothing can be done about it apart from moving to Satellite TV. Please don't adjust your TV's Tuning?

  • inhalezany kinga🌻 (@inhalezany) reported

@TaliaMar i was too broke to afford sky freeview was (and still is) the ****

  • Lukeytoons Luke Hayes (@Lukeytoons) reported

@TCL_Europe hello, I have a #TCL 55C815 and the freeview play does not work at all even though there is a dedicated remote button. Have any other #TCL owners got this problem?

  • AndyEMorrison Andy Morrison (@AndyEMorrison) reported

@trevorw1953 It won't be- it will be using spare bandwidth available when CBBC closes down at 7pm. BBC4 is the best channel on Freeview imho.

  • iv_coffee_stat I V Coffee Stat (@iv_coffee_stat) reported

@mikeythenurse I rarely watch mainstream tv (don’t even have a Freeview tv) I’m SO glad you posted this! Watched it on TVNZ on demand. Good to see such positive stories of young people with supportive loving families Yeah the Zoladex needle is horrible. Remember the first time I ever gave one😳

  • nowtvhelp NOW TV Help (@nowtvhelp) reported

@JoeTurner1978 Ah Joe, this is the SMART Box with Freeview built in and does not support the red button streams. Extremely sorry about this :(

  • a516digital Mike (ex-a516digital) (@a516digital) reported

(Existing channels are exempt for this rule though). The green light follows a consultation that took place between November & January. However, only a small number of Freeview Play devices will support these developments: your TV or box needs to support Client List Management.

  • TreeHouseBkshop TreeHouseBookshop #MusicMatters (@TreeHouseBkshop) reported

@SarahG20123 I did have a problem earlier - the picture froze, though the audio carried on, and my remote wouldn't do anything. Eventually my freeview/YouView box switched itself off and rebooted itself. TV is off now, but it was OK to the end of the programme after that.
