@jaxlfc_jj @YaTerrynorris70 It’s not restricted to the BBC. If you watch or record live TV on any channel - either through your TV or through a website - then you need a TV licence. This applies whether you receive Freesat, Freeview or a pay-TV service in your home, & whether or not you watch BBC channels.

  • Coolsambob Sam Cannon (@Coolsambob) reported

The best thing about having my phone contract and home internet with @ThreeUK is that when it goes down in my area I get to sit in the dark with a cold cup of tea and watch Freeview.

  • Starrygem4 DianeB (@Starrygem4) reported

@SimonLivesey @TkoCymon @GBNEWS I'm sure my gbnews on freeview 236 is HD. I can't get it very well though cos the aerial is crap 😕

  • sb00020 Sam Brett (@sb00020) reported

@LGUK @Cynic1311 What a joke. So the 2019 and 2021 models support freeview play and all4, but the 2020s don’t. Congratulations on losing a customer and I’ll be sure not to recommend LG

  • a516digital Mike (ex-a516digital) (@a516digital) reported

@CrabbyValiant @back_the_BBC That's starting to change: Anyone with a Sky Glass TV no longer needs to turn over, as the HD service is fully regionalised. Virgin Media and iPlayer users are up next for the upgrade. Sky, Freesat and Freeview due to be upgraded before the end of 2022.

  • FatherPeter11 Bacon Dog 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 (@FatherPeter11) reported

@rainie1410 On freeview you get the same crap all the time. Endless repeats of Border Patrol USA or Come Dine With Me and Four In A Bed. You’d think that they would realise that maybe the public have seen enough of this crap and it’s time for a change.

  • WanderingSadu Harry Mincherley (@WanderingSadu) reported

Not had Freeview for years due to aerial issues. Daily tsunami of garbage on there.

  • janner_geek Janner Geek - 3.5% #GTTO #FreePalestine 🇵🇸 🇬🇷 (@janner_geek) reported

Did anyone else's Freeview box automatically record the "Prime Minister's" address earlier? I didn't ask for that **** to sully my telly box, thanks very much! #BorisMustGo #ToriesOut

  • Cotton241189 Cotton (@Cotton241189) reported

Would be cool if @vodafoneNZ did a software update on the VodafoneTV units just prior to them being **** down that turned them into an untethered Freeview/internet TV hub.
