    @FreeviewAdvice I’m asking if its coming to Freeview Play, why would Sky know that? The BBC have said it’s coming to internet connected TV services (including Sky Glass). Freeview Play is an internet connected TV service it not? One not limited by manufacturer unlike Sky’s service.

    @kategarraway @skytv Poor Kate No doubt Xmas day her kids will have plenty of presents and food but back in the real world there are kids who will get no presents and be lucky to have a proper meal Oh your tv will have free to air freeview channels you could always watch them

  • twiitterrer The Hon. Padre de Bobby (@twiitterrer) reported

    @salt_veins Instal FreeView on your phone so you can watch tele on it & some well fitting earphones plugged in to block out ALL the noise as hospitals are just SOOO NOISEY & problem solved. If the earphones fit snug, then it doesn't need to be loud. That's what I did. Hospital had free wifi.

    @MontyGeoff Yes ... I never watch BBC anyway .... we only watch documentaries on Freeview anyway .....

  • nerdsville Andrew Garratt M0NRD 📻 (@nerdsville) reported

    @NigelBig @back_the_BBC @bbcemt weather forecast never mentioned the 'East' so assume a **** up somewhere - this just on satellite or affecting freeview too?

  • StoneGringo Gringo Rolling Stone - Wear a feckin mask! (@StoneGringo) reported

    @SandraRolston Mine never mastered Freeview. It was 1 - 2 - 3 - 4 and that was yer lot.

  • JasCB2 Jas C-B (@JasCB2) reported

    @SpammyFritter My initial thought was how very tacky.... But ive never been one for crackers at the table. Got me back on side with the freeview, that was a nice festive touch.

  • TonyMoretta Tony Moretta (@TonyMoretta) reported

    @AlStewartOBE ONdigital could have worked with right leadership/strategy. Look at Freeview. Rebranding & vanity channels arrogant, League deal stupid. I tried to do a deal with TiVo in 2000 which would have beaten Sky+ to market. Free channels + pay-lite + online would have found audience.

  • ABalharry62 AlisonB (@ABalharry62) reported

    Jeezo it's #ChristmasEve and not one good film on freeview channels aye appears bloody @skytv have hoovered up the rights to #Elf, aye the world is utter shite, aye I'll never be paying dosh to @skytv. Eh I've never bought a lottery ticket either, what a bloody racket that is 😡

  • AllFineSunshine Vampire du bonheur (@AllFineSunshine) reported

    @MiniShane @JimSterling I mean, we had the same here with analogue. There were still channels that made their money from ad-revenue like ITV, Channel 4 and Channel 5, and they're still accessible on Freeview since the switch to digital. I just don't see an issue in funding a public institution

  • timmacwilliam Tim MacWilliam (@timmacwilliam) reported

    @LBC Traded in the equivalent of an all singing & dancing satellite tv service with films and sport plus Netflix thrown in for Freeview with a dodgy signal with half the stations but it does have a little British flag in the corner
