@Sonic_Sinclair @bbcmicrobot Technically it is, there's support for it in DVB. There's several channels on DVB satellite that uses it, not sure there's any on freeview. Certainly all the original services shutdown or moved to MHEG. The BBC mheg service was incredible but that's shutdown now too 🙁

@KellyQuilt Do you use Freeview/Freesat or a paid for service? If the latter, may be time to switch to the former?

@MoneySavingExp Can't get a good freeview signal so got Freesat. Very happy with it. Seriously underrated

Mr Lawrence 😷 (@LMac1970) reported
@KellyQuilt If really battening down, consider ditching any streaming or satellite commitments (FreeSat is good if you have a dish, FreeView if not). Moving to an electric car (or if unfeasible a certain vintage of Citroen C1, Toyota Aygo or Peugeot 106) will save you on fuel and road tax.

/2 uniquely in the UK, the East Mids transmitter at Waltham is being fed with the (broken) online streams. This first occured last week. All other Freeview transmitters have different source feeds that are not affected.

@DavidBoink @russeaside1053 Hi David, Sometimes mobile broadband services can interfere with TV signals in some areas. A company called DMSL has been established by mobile phone operators to help resolve these reception issues for Freeview users. If you want any further information, you can send us a DM.

@MoneySavingExp Had Freeview for years. Haven't got time to watch everything we record so would never pay for even more channels.
