@yotanka77 It's free and will be available to you once it starts up. Freeview is a free range of channels including the mainstream channels. You can open an account with the service without a fee I believe (don't quote me on that)

@John_BHarvey Spender never seems to get the same repeat treatment that some other shows from that era get on freeview (or does it?) A shame - I imagine it still stands up.

I never watch the mainstream media news channels on virgin media or Freeview TV besides there are other channels that people can watch and I'm watching now 90s music channel on virgin media TV right now.

@helenmccusker @neighbours Had the same problem, watched it all the time on BBC, then it went to channel 5 and I couldn't get C5 so had years of missing it and then have never watched C5 since having Freeview & don't buy TV guides anymore so have no idea what is on normal TV & never watch live TV anymore

@FreeviewTV why has RT been removed from freeview? We live in a democracy where we should be able to hear all sides to a narrative, even if we don't agree with it. Are we going down the Covid route of one sided info? Let us choose what to watch and

Odd, channel hopping, and come to Freeview 56 - 5Select - and up pops Britain's Great Rivers: Then and Now - The Clyde. Waiting to see what I said a few years back, when I froze my bollocks off, being interviewed down opposite the Finnieston Crane. TV - oh, the glamour...

@Richard66629722 @florencerounda2 You can cancel the sky TV service if you want and it becomes a Freeview TV. Or you could plug in another cable service if you want. Just won’t have the same voice controls. But the voice control annoys me anyway as it is so buggy.

@graeme_from_IT @Ofcom Looks like events have overtaken themselves. With the EU banning the channel thus cutting off the Astra satellite uplink, it's down for Sky & Freesat viewers (and YouTube has blocked the channel for EU & UK viewers), and that disconnection appears to have also affected Freeview.

@toadmeister I spoke to ofcom: THEY have not shutdown RT: it is freeview & YouTube who have done this. I agree it is terrible to not let us hear all sides in this "democracy" we live in! Reminds me of stopping all opinions about Covid. Agree or not, we should have the right to hear all sides
