@R59V8 I don't know what we pay, so I don't know how good a deal we get. But at least with Freeview you are close enough to the big mast to get no issues. Up here it is terrible - The slightest tropo and it's unwatchable

  • KayleighHewitt9 Kayleigh🍋 (@KayleighHewitt9) reported from Watlington, England

having freeview/sky before all of the tv’s automatically switched to freeview, i only ever had 4 channels on a massive box tv also having takeaways, my family never had takeaways where it was the norm for my friends

@nzherald watch when TVNZ & RNZ merge ,csoting taxpayers millions, it will be a leftie version of cnn, never watched freeview ,never will, and, i am a maori.

  • paulwebster Paul Webster (@paulwebster) reported

Impressed to see that @TalkingPicsTV now has a Freeview Red Button service. HbbTV (Freeview Play) so older TVs might not work - and requires Internet connection.

  • Bute_Hoose Bute Hoose (@Bute_Hoose) reported

@srobb68 @Boukalaki @garryhooper It won't happen..... Also, Freeview is a consortium of broadcasters (of which the BBC is only part)> Remove the BBC altogether then you'll just end up with crap adverts and a larger bill to pay whichever entity comes in to take over.

  • Gerrysmart99 Gerry (@Gerrysmart99) reported

@Margare62511181 Apart from a few webmail issues Eir is the way to go. SKY treated me like a nuisance caller instead of a valued customer.Maybe things have changed over the last ten years & it no longer sends legally sounding threatening letters even tho it was its own fault. Advise: Freeview😟

  • ascottreid Scott Reid (@ascottreid) reported

@scottygb Also - and I'm not an expert in this and I could be wrong - is there not a technical issue where it's a bad idea for too many Freeview channels to show the same thing at the same time? I'd assumed that's why BBC Three and BBC Four were off the air rather than simulcasting.

  • LPositivist2 Logical🇪🇺🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿Positivist2#FBSI (@LPositivist2) reported

@I__W______ Plenty of stuff down in the corners of freeview telly.

  • Lemonhunny Lemonhunny (Lesley) 💉💉💉💙💙 (@Lemonhunny) reported

@Toughtruth5 @StGilesHighKirk Nobody had to have it on 24/7. If you did, you're stupid. I probably haven't watched 3 hours all told, because amazingly in 2022, there are lots and lots of other free channels, showing regular programmes, even without subscriptions (Freeview etc). Or maybe, just turn it off?

  • Ale_n_Metal j t (@Ale_n_Metal) reported

@NateDawg27 @shedden Yep. A lot of older/isolated people will only have freeview/radio so putting it just on bbc news 24/world service for rolling reporting with any new news on standard news bulletin programmes would be better

  • Redeyes1878 RedWhiteBlack1878 (@Redeyes1878) reported

Watching Real Madrid on @PremierSportsTV because of their Freeview offering. Never watched such poor coverage of any event. Poor sound, awful commentary, absolute amateur offering. Like watching a match on FIFA20.
