Hmm, funny how loss of Freeview signal is corrected by; re-tuning, pulling out all the aerial cables, changing them around, tuning again, looking at what way the aerial outside is facing, plugging in the original cables and then re-tuning. Fecking work the first time! 😡

@MNotts19 @thefreepress2 @TheProleStar we only had our licence to watch PMQs...we cant get freeview signal here and stopped virgin tv too pricey and paying for so many free to air channels. After GE i stopped my licence and wrote official complaints. £12 a month better off!!

I noticed EVERY night few royals full throttle on freeview! Poor me😢! If they thought , by showing me who took all the wealth bitterly fought for & looted from Africa, Asia (& other 50% of the world), would make me to love them less then before tv fantasies, they succeded!

  • jerryalderson Jerry C Alderson (@jerryalderson) reported

@back_the_BBC If the TV licence were to be decriminalised the only way to shore up BBC income would be some form of subscription even if only top up. A key problem, for government is that the #Freeview platform is, er, free, with the technology not currently supporting encryption for payments

@kategarraway @skytv Sometimes it is a simple reset that can fix it, turn off your Sky Box and broadband router, turn the router back on and wait for it to fully initialise, then turn on the Sky Box You should still be able to watch freeview if you plug the outside ariel directly into the TV.

  • shipleynoise The Shipley Noise (@shipleynoise) reported

@PhilippeAuclair At the very least a rolling Covid public information service should have been setup on Freeview, Digital Satellite and Virgin which would carry information on the rules. All technically possible using existing terrestrial and satellite capacity.

  • CloughRoy roy clough (@CloughRoy) reported

@kategarraway @skytv I would think even if problem with Sky take the aerial lead out of back of sky box and plug into back of tv get you freeview at least, won't solve wi-fi I accept.

@FreeviewAdvice hi, im having trouble receiving drama (channel 20 freeview) on all sets in my house. All other channels fine, although sometimes the picture breaks up on them.

@rat_mortuis @korahawhare I don’t have freeview tv & I literally cancelled Sky the day after my ex & I split up- such a great feeling. He used to spend every evening flicking between sports channels but never watching anything for more than a few minutes 😱 I have Netflix & sometimes watch “on demand”

  • samthom90 Sam Thompson (@samthom90) reported

@SarahJaffray2 I’ve mainly got it because we’ve got issues with our reception. Often a lot of channels from freeview break up. Also, I’ve added on sky sports so I can watch the football.
