@NNweather Please RT. Anyone in the NN2/NN3 area experiencing issues with their Freeview HD reception this weekend? Tried all the usual fixes but still dropping out every so often. I know O2 were doing some works in the area last week, so not sure if it's related to that.

Question. Our TV is old + our digi box is awful. So until I fork out for a new TV – what is the best streaming stick – Chromecast / Amazon / Roku? Do any also do Freeview?

  • JohnMcCullough6 John McCullough (@JohnMcCullough6) reported

@AlexKane221b You will be pleased to learn that the Freeview Christmas movie season starts really early on 8th September, probably channel 52. 95% will be pretty awful but there will always be a few gems.

EarthxTV a new TV station on Freeview starts this 7pm this evening with a programme is about faith leaders calling on global leaders and communities to take action on climate change. Seems to be a from Us & focussing on environmental and justice issues, no idea on pedigree…

BT launch internet Freeview for BTTV. Service available after a box reset.

  • shortflyslip Andrew (@shortflyslip) reported

@PullarStrecker yeah, that's an interesting development. The market for watching NZ's so-called terrestrial TV channels seems a bit uncertain right now with the Freeview on demand service set to end, and Sky might be one of the better options.

  • zylon9 N M Dowd (@zylon9) reported

@mrbobdaly @BrendanBalmaine It said it was for freeview (UK) if the internet went down so presumably it will have saorview here.
