@soxgnasher Talking Pictures TV have a film on their Encore on demand service on Freeview called The Turners of Prospect Road (1947) about a Greyhound. Great scenes from inside the stadium.

@PeterTatchell Ah yes, the BBC have blocked all other TV channels, all access to freeview, freesat, Sky, Now TV, Netflix, Prime, Brit Box and every other TV and film service in the country. They've also burned all books, DVDs, radios, and blocked Spotify, Deezer etc. Pillock.

@GabrielVanca @ZachElsbury @PeterTatchell Freeview. Netflix. iPlayer. Plenty of alternatives available to those who don't want someone's way of life shoved down their throats

@martinetruelove Same as I use Virgin. I’m assuming of you disconnect from the internet and just use the aerial you would get the standard Freeview service but not be able to access any of the apps in the telly.

@a516digital Brilliant, thank you. For some reason the BBC seem slow or reluctant to update their listings which for programmes not broadcast makes my Freeview box give a "recording failed due to power loss" error.

  • a516digital Mike (@a516digital) reported

@EvanD @Psythor @JamesCridland Shopping channels also have the issue that it might be seen as inappropriate to continue broadcasting. Of interest in regards statmuxing is that a number of Sky satellite channels also reverted to static captions, including Pick. On Freeview, Pick showed the Funeral. Here, the...
