@piersmorgan It’s a Tory cut to a public service! Let’s not turn this into a BBC hate fest as Twitter seems to do at every opportunity. As a nation I believe we are willing to see an increase in the licence fee to subsidise those who are struggling, Freeview would still be most affordable TV.

@thedann__ Always avoided it because of him. Our BBC 1 freeview channel went down a few months ago so decided it to give it a go... I lasted less than 5 minutes and turned it off and put the radio on. He was insufferable

@marktewk I saw that. But the likelihood that everyone will have fast broadband in 6 yrs time is unlikely. Also if people can't afford just over £12/month for a TV licence how the hell will they afford broadband connection & a subscription fee. Freeview is the way the poor can watch TV.

  • Rupert_Travis Skewering_Socialism (@Rupert_Travis) reported

The endlessly repeated #peloton ad on the Freeview channels is the most irritating 30 seconds I've ever encountered. It is driving me crazy and I will never, ever buy one of those damn things.

  • o_0yusuf Yusuf (@o_0yusuf) reported

@WeHateDiana I never had these shows I had freeview

  • Page_888 Matthew H (@Page_888) reported

@geo_geo_geo1971 @BBCOne Seems to be an issue with your TV provider, as this doesn't happen on Freeview.

  • EddieHenryJames E.H.James 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿😬 (@EddieHenryJames) reported

@FifiOink Haha. First discovered can't watch live on Freeview app, then tried to make an account which wouldn't work, finally managed to hack my own account and then finally buffering issues 😭

  • Mark56623345 mark Hughes (@Mark56623345) reported

@christigoesloco @a516digital Not a problem on other platforms of course, and not a problem on the freeview fallback system, but a problem for older tv and box users.

  • will_wren Will Wren (@will_wren) reported

@Crystalangeles2 @MoriartyProfJ3 If you abolish the TV licence you close down Freeview, 4G & 5G - TV licence also pays for that

  • thisisjoeob Joe O'Brien (@thisisjoeob) reported

@nickpiggott More that the ITV Hub is crap. And I didn’t realise so many people had either no TV or no freeview. But yes. Q is it!!

  • Julesbaileyx Jules (@Julesbaileyx) reported

Missed the first hour of Harry and Meghana interview so now won't be watching until tomorrow because Freeview TV sucks
