@piersmorgan It’s a Tory cut to a public service! Let’s not turn this into a BBC hate fest as Twitter seems to do at every opportunity. As a nation I believe we are willing to see an increase in the licence fee to subsidise those who are struggling, Freeview would still be most affordable TV.

@markfrommellor @BBCOne Let’s not forget - the viewing figures for Wimbledon - is that just figures for viewing from platforms like Freeview/Sky? If so, how many more watched on iPlayer and services like Red Button? We’ll never know though…

@MarkSanderson52 @FreeviewTV Agreed. Remove the dross channels and retain HD services. We are not using CRTs and it's no longer the 1990s. It's 2022 and the premier news channel on Freeview looks as bad as Sky News in SD now. Unwatchable unless you want to go blind. Thankfully BBC News HD is still on Astra.

So BBC News HD is no longer on Freeview. Pretty much the only channel I actually watch live. This sucks.

@LeoLem54321 @SkyNews You need to be covered by a TV Licence if you watch live TV on any channel or TV service - such as ITV Hub, All 4, YouTube, Sky, Virgin, BT, Freeview, Amazon Prime Video, Now TV - on any device.
