Evening tweeps! Got a conundrum - my aerial socket doesn't work and I keep missing the cricket. Freeview app doesn't work on Chromecast and indoor rabbit ears work minimally. What am I supposed to do to get free to air tv? Only option I can think of is stream from phone or lappy

  • manps_singh Manpreet Singh (@manps_singh) reported

Chisora Fury robbed the public, that should have been freeview. Who would pay PPV for this terrible fight

  • UKtodayUK Real Mike ©️ ↙️ (@UKtodayUK) reported

I only have Freeview, do movie channels get together and collude over what night they they are screening good films and what nights they show crap ones?

  • EmmaLovelace Emma Lovelace (@EmmaLovelace) reported

All channels on Freeview are unwatchable at the moment. Been like that for a few days, terrible service.

  • Alex_B_2002 Alex (@Alex_B_2002) reported

@Agrannywhosaid1 Fine by me. Currently the BBC's forced funding model relies on the false claim that "Freeview doesn't support encrypted subscription services".

@pearcy29_ If you have Freeview go to channel 601 and Radio 5 live is the commentary, no stupid Jenas to ruin the match.

@whophd @meadea @domknight From what I've read, onDigital/ITV Digital was plagued with reception and piracy issues however overbidding for TV rights to a lower division football league was their biggest downfall. Although in a way, the failure of it + the later rise of Freeview was probably a good thing.
