  Going to my friends house who had Sky and I had channels 1-5. I was like damn my friends are rich! Freeview changed my life.

  One of the things that fcks me off more than anything else in cheap hotels like Travelodge especially but also Premier Inn is they never bother to retune most TVs on Freeview. The hotel I'm in tonight upt North looks like it hasn't had the channels updated for at least 5 years.

  £40.50.. how do you justify raising it to £67 for exactly the same service?! I have been a Sky customer for years! I am so disappointed.. freeview it is.

  @jamosameo @cordbusters I agree the interface is awful for recording It's as if they only added the Freeview recording facility at the last moment in development... Was looking forward to this device for months but returned mine to Richer Sounds within the returns period

  Wales World Cup Qualifier on BBC TV tonight, not allowed to watch on BBC iPlayer as in France in our Motorhome so ‘Geo Blocked’ even though a TV Licence payer, our Belgian neighbour is allowed to watch it though on his Belgium TV Freeview WTF? #BBC @BBCSport

  @GBPolitcs Why should I pay a tax for a service I choose not to use? If I choose Sky, TNT, Paramount, Disney, Netflix ect. I pay for it. The ones I don’t pay for (Freeview services) are funded by advertising. Frankly the public funding for C4 should be revoked too.

  @GSpellchecker We’re not in a good tv reception area, and used freesat but the dish kept playing up. In desperation I tried an old, small and powered internal tv ariel that plugs directly into the tv and sits next to it, and we get a perfect freeview signal. Worth a go before spending loads.

  The 1970s : "Those were the Days" on Freeview : What really pisses me right off is most of the ******** spouting off total bullshite about the 1970s weren't even born so why don't they get a proper job and stop making themselves look like a superior *******.

  @archivetvmus71 I adored The Rockford Files. Garner was superb. Can't understand why it never gets any repeats on any of the Freeview channels.
