@KarenHu04464593 @FreeviewAU @FinancialReview Did you get a solution Karen? The purple Freeview menu won't disappear from my TV when on channel 9 and some other channels, everytime I exit the app it comes back later on its own accord.

@Samsmilew @RonMooreMoreRon Hello Samantha. Freeview channels are all that many receive. In 2021 the BBC chose to show the same program about the DofE across all its national TV and radio stations. Folk never had the option of switching over to another BBC channel.

@GriffeyHilary @AnthonyICHH @MichaelsCoDub All a VPN does is mask your IP address, BBC is geoblocked in Ireland but with a VPN it makes a new IP Address look like you are in GB. Legal? Who cares? Nobody. You can get bbc free via freesat or freeview in ROI and no legal issues so....

@bbcemt @BBCOne When will this be sorted? I understand it’s expensive on satellite. But I watch on Freeview so already get a regionally transmitted HD service, you just need to give me the correct video!? Even if local the content is upscaled.. #bbc #hd

@MoneySavingExp Only option for us is Sky unless I want a streaming service like Netflix or Amazon Prime but then a need decent broadband to too. Found Freesat wasn’t much better than freeview and Virgin isn’t installed by me so not an option

@Nettleshippy I don't know many people who only have four or five channels. In fact, I don't know any. Freeview has dozens. Licence payers don't get to dictate content; never have. It was one day. Making a formal complaint seems OTT

@dwchappie Dave, nobody who has bought a TV since analogue was turned off hasn’t got Freeview and those watching on TVs from before then will have to have a box to convert the signal.
