  @ChrisHazzardSF My understanding is that RTE services work on the Freeview platform via terrestrial signal deep beyond the boarder counties. With RTE themselves saying that the signal strength is high in the boarder region and moderate beyond

  @GBPolitcs Why should I pay a tax for a service I choose not to use? If I choose Sky, TNT, Paramount, Disney, Netflix ect. I pay for it. The ones I don’t pay for (Freeview services) are funded by advertising. Frankly the public funding for C4 should be revoked too.

  @Argos_Online Help, we bought a @HisenseUK TV completely miss-sold. While technically there is no 'fault', this TV does not work as described. You need an internet connection for their rip-off version of freeview. it doesn't say that in the description.

  @FreeviewAdvice transmitter fault with Weaverthorpe transmitter since power cut yesterday. No BBC channels except HD, and no BBC radio channels on freeview. 2 TVs, signal checked, retuned, other channels unaffected, others report same issue

  @_DIGB Also I don’t watch any freeview. If you’re looking to get rid of yours they’ll contact you in the post I appealed and said I don’t use aerial or freeview no bbc or even iplayer an use WiFi/5g streaming apps like prime, Netflix, paramount bla blah so happy to help on that

  @krstnbrws More likely TV Warehouse will closedown because it's affiliated shopping channel meaning it's sponsored by different companies and not real shopping channel. Plus the change over to Your TV . TV Warehouse never went nationwide on Freeview i wonder why not?

  Bit slow off the mark with this one. Thought I'd fire up the FreeView sat box but NOT WORKING because in April 2025 (AKA 'just recently Mr. Kiwi 🙄) is dead will not talk to 'new satellite'. So much for watching winter Olympics.
