Only reason I mentioned that song (Tarzan Boy) is because I've been watching a lot on NOW 80s on Freeview channel 83. I didn't realise that apart from some good songs, how much crap there was as well in the 80s 😂

Half my channels on Freeview have had very poor sound and picture quality the last while and it's p*ssing me off somewhat.

@Agrannywhosaid1 Fine by me. Currently the BBC's forced funding model relies on the false claim that "Freeview doesn't support encrypted subscription services".

@Matt_1269501 What would you do - upgrade the UK's internet infrastructure so that everyone can get the BBC over 5G or the internet (reasonably impossible) or replace Freeview with an encrypted service? (also impossible)

Not at all surprised to find that @itvx is a pile of rubbish. Not integrated into Freeview Play's TV guide, no Channel list in the app's UI, so using it for catch up is a pain in the neck. Didn't they do any usability tests? Unbelievably bad. That's if it loads... #itvx

@a516digital I personally am happy for an ip future, if and when it finally takes off. But i think the bbc might be too ambitious for 2030. Freeview is a good service where you can get it.
