Only reason I mentioned that song (Tarzan Boy) is because I've been watching a lot on NOW 80s on Freeview channel 83. I didn't realise that apart from some good songs, how much crap there was as well in the 80s 😂

@dramachannel Yes, but to no avail. It's the dreadful Freeview/DAB signal in my area. Trying to listen to digital radio is just as frustrating and virtually impossible too.

  • Gavarnos Gav Mac  (@Gavarnos) reported

@IanDunt Having a decent Freeview roof aerial & amplifier really does help. The ITV HD channel is an improvement. I have epic internet & their streaming quality is horrifically bad; just watched the Denmark game I missed yesterday it’s garbage!

@makeupaguy We had ******* freeview so we got cheap kids channels, so I had never wtach a full spongebob episode

  • christyevans Christy Evans (@christyevans) reported

@DANHUDSON I have a tv but only stream. Signal is better than freeview

  • bl0ke a humorously-shaped potato (@bl0ke) reported

@virginmedia I believe it's a V6 TiVo box. Output has always been quieter than the same channel on Freeview but trying to watch the film #Yesterday... uh.. yesterday.. was terrible. Had to set the TV to 90% to get a decent sound level.

  • nick_thompson Nicholas Thompson (@nick_thompson) reported

@NewsAMorgan @Jezzer_UK @mrmitchell78 Problem is, the services they offer are publically broadcast and not trivially paywalls for a subscription service. Sure, freeview offers some kind of encrypted broadcast, but that's just the TV. What do we do? Paywall BBC news and weather? Kill all FM BBC radio?

  • VictoriaBarry82 Victoria barry (@VictoriaBarry82) reported

@dj85ftm My cousin works for sky & if you cancel, a few weeks later they’ll call you back & offer a decent discount. I’ve cancelled a few times over the yrs & never handed a box back & you can watch the freeview channels through the box

  • chriscol6765 Chris (@chriscol6765) reported

@bt @freeview. Your TV service is so bad.

  • jennimcparland1 Jennifer McParland (@jennimcparland1) reported

@ThisDave @FergusCraig Have one! Still have a problem with sky coming through it ( which is how we get our tv as the freeview signal is sh**t!
