@RickSacrop @neal_preshner Hmm, where I live can’t get Freeview signal, still have to pay licence fee. I have to pay for Sky so I can watch TV, hardly fair in my book. Sooner it’s scrapped the better!

Great Movies Action channel (Freeview 42). “The Apocalypse” A disaster movie that is so apocalyptically bad that it hasn’t got enough budget for cgi of devastation. Just gormless characters watching TV news, or watching the devastation (neither of which is visible to the viewer).

@scott_gamer @russty_russ I'm guessing they would have sold generic DTT boxes for free-to-air digital TV. Top-Up TV used to be on Freeview. Unusually the ntl:digital text service still ran and provided listings for ITV Digital channels long after Freeview had replaced it.

@BBCNews wonderful new Webb telescope images, yet we now have to watch on Freeview in standard definition as no HD signal 🤷.

@thefulltoss @hainba67 Participation numbers in all sports are in decline regardless of whether its on freeview tv. The downward trend has been since the late 1980s. My research shows its more likely down to the fact sport is not played in state schools rather than tv.

@ClearAsChloe I've never seen it as I only have Freeview TV. I know there are lots of references to Stephen King including the title. Still, one day I will get to see it!!

BBC News HD being taken of Freeview is a major loss. Poor show, @BBC.

@newhandlehun @CahairOKane1 Many of us can’t access it on our TVs (I don’t have Sky and my Freeview doesn’t pick up RTÉ) and not every VPN service allows us to get around the GAA’s geoblocking.

@MAGNETIC_DOGZ Basically you needed a paid service with certain companies to even get Nickelodeon, CN, ect on the TV. I grew up on the freeview channels, pop, cbbc, citv, all that.
