@RickSacrop @neal_preshner Hmm, where I live can’t get Freeview signal, still have to pay licence fee. I have to pay for Sky so I can watch TV, hardly fair in my book. Sooner it’s scrapped the better!

  • MichaelCJDavid Michael (@MichaelCJDavid) reported

@ivorsawbottom This needs to be good, Ivor. I’m holding you personally responsible for the lousy Freeview TV signal, I’m getting from the transmitter, at Rowridge, on Paradise Island. It just won’t do, you know.

  • cvrlh Cyrille Varnier - The Big Picture (@cvrlh) reported

@RobintheBear @sixteennine If I may, Samsung DM75E's 450 nits seems a bit short for outdoor, should put it in a shaded area if possible. As for the Freeview signal it's standard HDMI1, HDMI2 and HDCP 1.4, it shouldn't cause any problem.

  • Doctor_of_Music Mike Coe (@Doctor_of_Music) reported

Living in a remote location, we only have a 'public service' Freeview transmitter, with restricted channels. Dense woodland to the east means no satellite TV reception, & there is no 'cable'. Therefore I have discovered with some pleasure that I will be unable to receive @GBNews

  • kennyhegney Kenny, so called, Hegney (@kennyhegney) reported

Because my phone is a Universal Credit special I've never downloaded BBC Sounds. Recently( in an attempt to get work) I went without food so I could get Internet plumbed in. Yesterday I found Sounds on Freeview Player so listened to final episode of #BatterseaPoltergeist

  • Fritz1875 Mikey (@Fritz1875) reported

I`m sitting here with a huge 4k telly and watching the game with a pish poor picture because the freeview i`ve got doesnae support BBC HD ffs...

  • don_mac D Mac (@don_mac) reported

@Danny_McMoomins Its going to be able on Freeview 643 or something even after the **** grot channels. The daytime TV Gammon's will never reach it too many world war 2 docs, reruns of lovejoy and homes under the hammer to skip through first.

  • iannock Ian Nock (@iannock) reported

@matthewcarter7 Freeview Play 4K TVs ... they have good support. TiVo v6 did at WC but have not confirmed this time around. Still need to check my SkyQ, but Android TV devices almost universally don't...
