Haven't had BBC channels since the retune, I've noticed I'm missing #BBC4 the most, damn I'm getting old. #freeview

  • marktoleman Mark Toleman (@marktoleman) reported from Fremington, England

So #freeview told me to retune my tv's which led me to lose all signal apart from one in front room as that's via freesat, so no signal upstairs. I'm now liable for the cost of an aerial engineer to fix it. Been told to complain to my local MP if I'm not happy.

Our accommodation has only got #Freeview. I’m beginning to have genuine sympathy for poor people.

  • jamgyal Dan (@jamgyal) reported

@liisa_agren @bbcproms @BBC It’s closed down on Freeview. I’ve got the option to cast it from the phone instead.)

  • Lisa_Evenden Lisa Evenden (@Lisa_Evenden) reported

@lauralaurab8 Some might not want to pay for it, but I know some people who cannot watch as they still only have freeview, or don't have a PC, tablet, mobile or cannot get 3g/broadband signal to be able to watch. I'm in a rural spot and our broadband speed is awful, Discovery+ kept buffering

  • TheRealPeterWa1 The Real Peter Wayne (@TheRealPeterWa1) reported

If anybody's feeling masochistic tonight, there is a solid six hours of the first series of women's prison drama, "Bad Girls" from 10 to 10 on freeview Drama.

  • Andrew88820142 Andy (@Andrew88820142) reported

How is it they can send signals from millions of miles away in space back to a little laboratory on Earth, when I can't even get a good TV signal off freeview 😭😡😡. This is supposed to be the 21st century.. Buck Rogers never had this problem.

  • Kenny_Onions Kenny Onions (@Kenny_Onions) reported

@Allllright Channel 5 started in 1997. Cable was never a thing, we have about 80 Freeview channels now but it's 90% crap. You can't get proper Sky with a dish, they have a VOD kption but it's expensive.

  • Christonabikee Christ on a bike (@Christonabikee) reported

@elseano85 @NoContextBrits Freeview channels funding themselves through advertising, like they already do, & paid ad-free subscription services, like the ones that already exist Literally the only thing that needs to change is the BBC becoming a subscription service. It isn't that difficult to understand

  • longy11 Laura Long (@longy11) reported

@laingo80 I know. It’s pretty bad for films. I’m at my moms who has freeview and there’s nothing on so I’m scrolling through Netflix trying to find stuff

  • joeylk71 Joanne Gray (@joeylk71) reported

@jacszosia @SaveHolbyCity I have to watch through iPlayer because I only have Freeview on my telly. I'd rather put up with freezes and delays than constant pixellation, dropout and that irritating screeching sound that watching Freeview's dreadful signal (or lack of) involves.

  • SimonScottUKNZ Simon Scott (@SimonScottUKNZ) reported

@ianpaynesport you can change the tv channel numbers, mind you it took me 10 years to find out. Eg. One is no longer bbc, it can be whatever you set it as. (Freeview) I never watch bbc itv channel 4
