No internet means no heat, limited burglar alarm (people in my neighbourhood are trying doors) etc. I’ve managed to cobble together something with a 4G giffgaff dongle

A FOI request detailing how network coverage map data is recorded, updated, and published would be interesting to see. It seems to be very different from reality.

Their charge increase is #phoneshithousery & for a 5 phone family with me being 20 years in maybe time for a change #onenetworkplayer 3 phones out of contract - where do i go? Phoebe (@PhoebsBo) reported@MartinSLewis I’m with GiffGaff who use the O2 network, and I didn’t receive the emergency alert. I have an iPhone 7, currently running iOS 15.7.3, and I have the extreme and severe emergency alerts switched on in my settings/notifications.

My phone suddenly lost service and I can no longer log into my account. Please immediately suspend the SIM and lock the account to prevent misuse. ***417

Best option I found was to order a Giffgaff SIM (or esim), stick a fiver in it and just top up when required. It usually connects to the AIS network here so calls etc all good. Serves 2 purposes with being able to receive UK SMS also
