@gingerninja1974 @giffgaff It appears it’s the set up of the phone. Which for a emergency alert seems to be failing! You can only receve it if you enable the function in settings, you can only get it if your using a 4G of 5G signal. Not well thought out plan at all!

@CentralBylines Husband did (including the alarm noise) I didn't, so it was 50:50 in our house. I was definitely on 4G. I'm with Giffgaff who use O2s network (I think?)

@Rick_Turner @TheSimonC90 I’m with giffgaff which runs on O2. What is the coverage like where you are? If you were not receiving a 4G/5G signal at the time of the test, you wouldn’t have received the alert. There are so many places around here that only get 3G and they won’t have received the alert.

@beckymil1 @ScottGShore I was sat watching the footie with 8 of my mates, literally all on apple but one on O2, I’m on Vodafone a couple on EE, a couple of Three and on giffgaff, some went off, some didn’t, all down to notification and privacy settings
